Yes, you can. There are multiple trees and combinations to set up s hammock. Look at the trees@ 2:13 bring extra rope so you can set up a hammock any way u want. That's my favorite site. It's also the closest site to the beach and bathrooms
Yes it is. I was searching for a video like this before we went there and found nothing. I brought hammocks but had no trees. I would have liked a better campsite, but we had a blast. I can't wait to go back! Thank u for watching and subscribing. Thank you very much for the comprehensive video. I just made a reservation for site 22 based off your recs. I can’t wait to surprise my younger cousins with this trip. Stay safe out there!
You're very welcome. I wish I had this info before I went. However, we had a great time. One of my favorite adventures. I cannot wait to go to Santa Rosa San Miguel Islands. Have a GREAT trip! Thank you for watching and SUBSCRIBING.
still debating 1 night or 2 nights camping, for now 2 days 1 night Day 1: 8am ferry 9:30am Adventure Kayak tour. Afterward, tent setup and little hiking Day 2: Pack up and more hiking, 3:30 pm ferry and check in to hotel, back to civilization.
Thank you for this video!! Would you recommend bringing your own kayak? The guided tour isn’t an option as my youngest is too young for it. Also, I’m traveling w/my kids so a backpack style tent isn’t realistic. Is it realistic to walk to campsite w/ tent? Also, the only return ferry is at 4 pm but we have to checkout before that. Is there anywhere we can store our gear? We are flying in for a road trip to a lot of parks so I’m trying to plan ahead. Thank you!
The camp is very close to the Ferry. Easy trek to the campsite with your stuff. Even if you made 2 trips, i wouldn't worry about my stuff. We left our kayak at the beach the whole time. So did everyone else. Kayak, yes bring your own. Make sure you put a 10ft rope on the nose. They tie all the Kayaks together and float them to the beach from the boat. When you check out, you can take your stuff to the ferry landing or beach. There R also day use tables and benches. This place is so laid back and only good people go there. Bad guys stay on the mainland. I can't wait to go back. Don't forget your snorkels
Thank you so much! This is super helpful! I bought snorkeling stuff tonight. I also got an inflatable 3 person kayak, life jackets… We are flying in so the inflatable kayak works much easier. I got a fold up cart to put it all in too. Is the cave kayaking close? Should be bring helmets? Sorry for all the questions!!
I'm so excited! I just booked site 14 for 4 days! I was looking for photos or video of my site so I knew what to expect. By looking at the map I knew 14 would be a great site. Happy to hear you say 14 is a favorite of yours. I planned on bringing my hammock too, hoping I'd be able to hang it, so I was really happy when you said it's a good site for a hammock. I can NOT wait! :-) Thank you so much for making this video!
@@pappysproductions I reserved a kayak for my entire trip. Also planning on getting a snorkeling kit so I have it. I leave in less than 2 weeks! So excited! 🤩
Thank you for this video. This a camp site would like to visit. Where is the dock and we’re do we leave our vehicles and is there a limit of items to take on the boat?
I do not know anything about that app. I use adobe Premiere for my video editing. For my voice overs, I use a voice/sound recorder. What do you use to edit your videos?
