Incidentally, the Japanese are far more familiar with their own, shorter and concise version of Super Nova than the overly long international version that we had to sit through... Can we just take a moment to laugh at the fact that Sephiroth blocked Cloud's initial strike _with_ Mario still pinned on his blade? I legit started laughing as soon as I realized that! XD
@@StormRulerKazunagi Tbpf, Soul Calibur VI was made on a very tight budget, so when it comes to the huge amount DLC the game is getting, I can be a little passive with it, especially since we've not only gotten popular creation parts back but also got some new great ones, and the many characters that have returned or been added are truly amazing. But even then, Sephiroth does kind of melt faces more in a big way.
My mom came in to react with and I was beginning to freak out. My mom, who knows nothing about games except what I tell her, just says "I don't know who that is".
My reaction is pretty much the same as yours but damn Sephiroth being in smash was absolutely unexpected! Someone is gonna be in my top 10 Smash characters!
I was honestly hoping to get Tifa for DLC (I really wanted to see her alongside Bayonetta and Samus for kickass video game heroines). But this works, too!
Tifa is probably going to be a Mii Brawler costume, Barret will probably be Mii Gunner, and Zack Fair will probably be a Mii Swordfighter costume, and all three will likely arrive alongside Sephiroth. We may also get them as new Spirits to come with Sephiroth as well. I just wonder how many music tracks we'll get along with Sephiroth. One-Winged Angel is a no-brainer. But I'd also like the JENOVA themes, Those Chosen By The Planet, & Birth of a God. Personally, the only thing that would have made me happier than getting Sephiroth....would have been getting KOS-MOS from Xenosaga instead. If there is one thing I'd love more than anything, it would be getting a remake/remaster of the Xenosaga games.
Can you imagine my shock waking up at 6 am randomly, turning on my phone going into youtube and see sephiroth is coming to smash all over my recomended feed exactly a week after having a discusion over if sephiroth is comming. I hopes so much for him to come, the other guy said it was highly unlikely, and I had to agree Even though I still had the hope, so basicaly, best 6am ever!
Why do all the DLC characters have MASSIVE RANGE?! Also, does Cloud have an altered final smash against Sephiroth specifically? Because that's actually hilarious!
So he one-shots the final boss and uses a remastered version of his theme (The Black Mages, to be precise). Sephiroth's been taking one too many lessons from Galacta Knight, I see. Also, can we have Galacta Knight as the superboss? He doesn't have to be playable.
I did NOT see this coming, at all! No one did and yet somehow Nintendo had done the impossible! Sakurei had better give us an explanation on how they managed to Do this, bring Sephiroth into Smash. Seriously, I am very curious on that.
I think the licensing issues with Sora is that by technicality Sora is a disney character. Hell I've even seen sora appear once at disney world with Donald and goofy to promote one of the games
I think it’d be funny if Crash was revealed and his trailer started with Sephiroth walking into a nitro crate and Crash doing the Crash Dance on Sephiroth’s body.
I've seen Sephiroth in so many dream rosters and fan games over the years that seeing him in a real Smash game is so surreal. Thank goodness I played FF7R this year.
So my speculation is that like Cloud, Sephiroth is gonna have a limit break. Because it looks like he has 2 different side special. But it’s just speculation, till we get the breakdown this Thursday.
Funny thing is Septhrioh was one of my picks for smash. Though I thought it wouldn't happen because of Square being stinging with their franchises. Well guess I was wrong 😆😆

I would've rather have Kefka Palazzo for Smash, but on the other hand, it's about time the Final Fantasy series got more representation in Smash Bros Ultimate.
I never played FF7 but even I know how long some attacks take, Sephi's ultimate attack takes I think it was 2 mins. Round Table literally took forever and then the next game Eden takes nearly 4 Mins
