Basically go to the shrine thats right in front of the first zhu bajie fight where you first meet violet spider and her daughters are preparing for a marriage, as soon as youre at that shrine look above and youll see some green will above you, climb up there with jump heavy attacks and follow the path for the frog boss fight
Honestly would recommend upgrading your drink a bit so you can get more health per sip also going back for missed pills and upgrading armor and staff chapter 5 gets a little more intense
The woman the crane was talking about was the 4th sister ( the one who'd been helping you and inmplied to have been in love with a destined one) you broke the talisman barrier keeping everything in the cave where the court was using the inhabitants to make pills.
