The COP1 to COP26 was too reduce our carbon emission not to erase it. He even explained it in the video. Our whole energy mix is still based on oil. So what do we need to heat homes in this winter? Yeah oil! The alternative is to die in cold because wind and Solar aren't a big part of our mix. It can't replace oil just yet. Maybe extinction rebellion should go there and cheer because people of Europe will survive the cold winter because of oil.

Just to state the blindingly obvious Scotland does not have a “new oilfield” or, indeed, ANY oilfields. This resource is entirely controlled by the UK in London. One day an independent Scotland WILL have control over this resource and the Scottish people will then decide what is to be done with it.
Scotlands resources... Oil, going out of fashion. Gas.. Due to fazed out. Fish.. Every country will a coast has fish. Renewable energy... That was funded by the UK, not the Scottish government, so a large percentage of profits will have to be paid uk government, as they paid for it! So could you please expand, and explain what nature resources Scotland has, that will be able to generate the BILLIONS it will need to pay for Scotlands expenses.
