Just back from a few mountain adventures (been on a weeks annual leave) and seen all the amazing comments from this anniversary video - thank you so much. I wont be able to reply to all of you so thought I would pin this comment as a general response. Its been an amazing journey (so far) and the amazing feedback I get on here from you all makes all the hard work and time spent in front of the computer editing worth while :) Thank you all so much for watching , commenting and liking the videos - it drives me on and here hoping the channel will be doing the same in another ten years :) Thanks you all so much Take care and see you next Wednesday for another adventure Murray

It's been almost exactly 4 years that I spent a night in that very bothy, with 4 dear friends, some venison steaks, a roaring fire and a dram or two. After a climb up that lump. Happy days. Keep them coming, mate!

I love your channel Murray. It’s kept me going through lockdown and given me my mountain fix. Last weekend I made a 750 mile round trip to see Glen Affric because I fell in love with the trees in you video. Thank you! Keep being amazing!

I love the cinematography, the editing (info appearing on screen etc), the chat, the brightly-coloured clothes, and the game of "guess the mountain". But what makes the videos stand out for me is the storytelling.

Coming back from health problems between 2010 to 2015 your channel Murray was probably the catalyst for my own adventures. Getting links to other Scottish vloggers has certainly changed my life and outlook. Thanks again to yourself and all the others that I follow.

Murray, where you go what you see and when the weather intervenes, what you do to endure and how you present! I remember "Muriel Gray" and also "Where Eagles Fly (Moira Kerr)", "Tom Weir" and many others have presented the wilds and the beauty amidst the diversity of this wonderful country (minus the Midges) but you do it in a fresh way and a great big THANKYOU, TEN years down keep going (with Gerry and yer son and the dug) for another decade at least please.

Only been a subscriber since covid increased my RU-vid content consumption exponentially, but now I never miss a video. I've been to every country on the planet, but the Scottish mountains are still right up there as my favourite places on earth. I live far away from Scotland, but your videos keep me inpired to keep looking forward to my next visit to the mountains - hopefully with my two daughters in tow! Thanks, Murray.

Just wanna say your channel is so inspirational. One of my favourites on youtube! I got into mountain hiking earlier last year, pottering around in Snowdonia, but your channel made me want to take in some of Scotland, so after seeing some of your videos in Glencoe, decided to head there for a week, never seen such a beautiful place in all of the UK! Didn't manage to bag the munro as the weather was dreadful and not confident enough to navigate high up with heavy mist, but we went up to the ridgeline on the Buchaille and it was one of the best days out ever!

Great memories Murray, I would’ve been following you for the last 2yrs or so and like everyone else thoroughly enjoy your channel, more so when Gerry is with you as your great double act. Some of your recent adventures and editing have been outstanding. Stay Safe out there and look forward to many more of your Adventures

Murray, I wonder if in future videos you could discuss the safety/emergency equipment you take with you on your day climbs and your wild camps? Do you have a satellite beacon device to use if you get into an emergency situation? What do you take in areas without cellphone signal? Do you tell people of your route and instruct someone to call the emergency services if they don’t hear from you after a certain time? Do you take flashlights, reflective bivvy bags, a power bank for your phone, whistle etc etc. Just an idea for a future episode. Keep up the wonderful work- you’re an absolute inspiration to many.

I can't remember exactly when I found you but I have a feeling I was brought here by Thomas Heaton (perhaps when you did a video together), as I've been following his channel for some years now. I've thoroughly enjoyed your content and continue to do so. I love mountains but we have precious few of them down in the south of England. HOWEVER... I think I've mentioned before that I wanted to move to Scotland, and guess what? In four weeks' time I'm moving to Aberdeenshire! I'm really excited and hope to explore the Cairngorms next year and take some photographs. I have many reasons for moving, but I want you to know that your channel has been a part of the inspiration because it has taken my existing love for Scotland and enhanced it over the time I've been a viewer. Thank you for all you do, and I hope to bump into you on a mountain some day! Stay safe, and here's to ten more years of great content :D

It only occurred to me the other day that you and your 3 pals walked me out of the hidden valley 2 or 3 winters ago, probably February/March. I had left my torch on my dashboard after checking the engine on the way to Glencoe and got caught in the dark after doing Bidean anti-clockwise circuit. You caught up with me where the path is narrow and right on the edge of the gorge. You told me at the time that you had a website and it is only now that I put 2 and 2 together. The videos are magic. Cheers for all your work and helping me out that evening.

I watch your videos on the big telly, as opposed to the computer, and haven't quite figured out how to do stuff like 'like', 'comment' etc other than just watch. But you're an inspiration to me, not so much on the scenery front, but on the video-making front. I am constantly in awe.

Hi Murray, I am quite new to the channel and enjoyed seeing how it all started, I watched the How did you start hiking video after this one. I first went to Scotland about the age of 8 with mum and dad in a caravan, did that several times up to the age of 16/17. Had a few trips to Scotland after that but it was only after renting a motorhome for my 50th and doing the west coast that i remembered how much i loved Scotland and have been there 3 times since. Having discovered your channel and P A Adventures has rekindled my love of hiking . Unfortunately a bad back at the moment has buggered things for a bit otherwise I'd be up there hiking around getting some mental clarity. Hopefully when its sorted out i can get up and experience some of this again, until then i'll have to make do with watching yours and Pauls videos. Thanks Murray

Hey Murray, your channel is absolutely fabulous. As an exile from the Western Highlands your adventures help me to relive my times climbing and exploring the those beautiful hills that I miss so much. I now live in Australia, while the landscapes are extensive but they are not as dramatic as those in Scotland. Please keep your channel going.
