As a Welshman basking in the glory of the grand slam after the final whistle Wales ire game.. I'm just glad I decided to watch the eng Scot game live as it unfolded .. one of the best games of rugby I've ever seen .. the second half litteraly blew my balls off..🏉🏉
Scotland helped England look good in the first half. They overcommitted on defense and left gaping holes. The English didn't have to do anything remarkable to score. Of course, the English did a good job of stifling any Scotland offense as well for the first 30. Still, it made for an absolutely epic game. There were at least two missed conversions and a missed penalty that would have had us over the line. I think I could have died happily if we had won. The Farrell/Jones show does not have me convinced at all. Very prone to collapse despite all that meat and talent.
Well I am a Scot but not in Scotland, but I was pretty fearful of the encounter. England have what we struggle with and they were hurt and hungry after Cardiff this year and Murrayfield last. The best I was hoping for was an honorable defeat, especially with the team in tatters. If that is you in the photo you are just a wee boy Angus and you haven't had to endure half a century of Scottish dashed hopes. Enjoy your innocence laddy and especially this result. They don't come around too often.
