It's unusual for me to enjoy kayaking close to large infrastructure, but I couldn't help be awed by the mightiness of the three Firth of Forth crossings. The rail bridge is the most fascinating and quite something to behold for its construction and sense of history. I particularly enjoyed paddling right below it when trains rumbled overhead.
All the filming with a GoPro Max 360º camera.
Kayak: Big Pond Kayaks "Mannta".
Paddles: Aquabound "Whiskey" Carbon.
Drysuit: Palm Equipment "Brora".
Music: "Bridge of Hope", Jayden Talley, Epidemic Sound
"Brdges", Volcan Peaks, Epidemic Sound

Lovely film; just a nice length. What a camera that is, and what an extraordinary structure the rail bridge is! I look forward to the book.

Thanks Nick. As you say , for an urban environment its a great place to paddle. My dad lives very close, so I solo paddle that area a fair bit. Id hoped to catch up with as you came through that area on your trip, but I was away. Cheers

This is brilliant Nick! I too am about to embark on an adventure upstream on the Ohio River toward Serpent Mound. I hope to get footage half this good. Well done. You are an inspiration. Cheers

I just love the way your video's for me are quite immersive and get the feeling that we are almost there with you. I have only been on two of the three bridges. I did see them craning in section of the Queensferry Crossing in 2016 when we were on are way up to Port Knockie, where I have my first ever go on a Sit on Top in Cullen Harbour. Found it really uncomfortable at the time, but still bought one a few years later.
