I spent a week there around 1972 with my wife a toddler daughter. We played on Port Logan beach nearly every day, and never saw another soul. I went back to work eventually and about a week later, after having felt " different " for some days, I realised I was truly relaxed ! I have never experienced that feeling before or since that week. A very tranquil place. We stayed at the Queens hotel Drummore !
Mull of Galloway and port Patrick I live in Scotland and have visited both places I stayed in that big hotel on the hill i was there with my best friend she had terminal cancer and this was our last get away before she passed away, seeing this with the lovely music made me tear up...Im so pleased you had good weather for your trip 😊
You should have got some Irn Bru to wash all that Scottish fare down! Soda scones - I usually have raw, split with butter. Never had an Aberdeen buttery. Glad you enjoyed it other than the manky facilities. Haste ye back
What beautiful scenery! Thank you for sharing it with us Roger. Daisy and Molly are so gorgeous! Hovis would be flat out too! 😊 xxx P.S. how were the snowballs?
