Return back to “Scotland Theme Park” 😥as when visited last November viewers said it didnt justify the park as it had closed for the Winter 2 weeks prior, the log flume was also missing them and a few claimed it was only dismantled for the Winter were others claimed it was sold, is it back now that park has reopened for 2024 🤔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Scotland needs a serious investor or group of investors to build a proper theme park. I think, given our tourist industry, Scotland could sustain a theme park from a business perspective. And I mean hundreds of millions invested in proper rides and supporting amenities.

Yeah its definitely needing a good theme park instead of us all having to travel down south or further a field to go to one, would love the day some investors did do this mate but i hope im wrong but cant see it happening within next 10-20 years 🥺👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The MERLIN group tried. Proposed a large theme park near Loch lomond and it was rejected.

Scotland's Themepark? Nah that is an embarrassing shit show. I live near there, and as you correctly said, when it opened, M&D's claimed it would be "bigger than Blackpool Pleasure beach" As you can see that never happened. That rollercoaster looks like the one that sat down in the corner and wasn't used for years. If it is that one, it's ancient as that was there when the rides used to be in the carpark over the road in the 90s, I mind seeing that coaster there as early as 1990/91😱😱..so many people were getting injured with that rollercoaster, whiplash and back injuries that's why they stopped using it. But it looks like they have brought it out of retirement when they really should've scrapped the damn thing! 🤬 They buy out of date rides from parks who sell them off when they upgrade, so M&Ds get all their cast off shite. The travelling shows are better than that pile of pish 🤣🤣

Yeah its a poor excuse and think they should change all the road signs and stop calling it “Scotlands Theme Park” as its embarrassing to us all anyone who travels here reads that, i was there up until 10 mins before the door opened yesterday and they also had a free Comic Con on the weekend and the place was empty, i remember when it 1st opened it was never anywhere near Blackpool pleasure beach but it was ok for a day out, defo isnt now 😢👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Great video again 👍 it's a poor show M&Ds....my daughter was there back in 2009 and went on one of the coasters.. when they came off, the very next time it went, it broke doon half way round and everyone had to be rescued... lucky escape 😀...was there no another roller coaster came off the track round about 2015-16ish and a load of people were hurt?.... thanks for sharing again 👍🙂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Just watch a couple of your videos mate Brilliant coverage of Celtic Park & Ibrox 😃. Yeah i remember that being the news the cart came off and landed next to a young kids ride, luckily the ride was not in use at time or would hate to think what might of happened, its embarrassing that its called Scotlands Theme Park, wish we would get a great theme park up here so dont have to travel as far to find a decent one 😢👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yeah had many people saying the “kids are bored after 1 hour & want to go home” we need a right good decent Theme park instead of having to travel down south or further afield just to go on a Rollercoaster 😃👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Totally agree mate, yeah id be raging if my parents wasted a good few hours drive when i was a kid to go to that poor excuse for a theme park, the only ride they had left that was ok was the Log Flume and they have sold that off, needs a new buyer who willing to invest otherwise no one is going to visit the place 😥👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yeah i thought id give place the benefit of the doubt by going back now its reopened since a few viewers said last time alot of the rises had been put away for the winter, it actually looked even more pathetic yesterday at least last video had circus tent there 🤪👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I couldnt remember that but a few others have also said that, think they need to knock it down and restart and this time spend some decent money on rides and not just old rejections from other parks if they claim to be Scotlands Theme Park then they should have decent Rides, if be raging mate if drove any distance to see this place, the car journey be most exciting ride youd experience 😜👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yeah i can imagine they were as there is not much to do, going to a theme park should be a great day out but this place just doesn’t qualify, unfortunately all us Scots need to travel down south to 1 of the many Theme parks down there as we have nothing up here and the fact this place is signposted on the Motorway as “Scotland Theme Park” tell it all 😔👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

SCOTLAND FOREVER! But seriously, i went to Strathclyde park on a school trip type of thing for five days. We could see M&D’s and it looked abandoned. The paint was worn off,and the dark gloomy atmosphere only made it worse. All in all, M&D’s sucks, Scotland rules.

Had a few viewers say they took their family here for a day out and kids were bored wanting to leave within the hour which was my same thought process when i last went here for the rides, you must of been super bored coming for 5 days, great comment mate 😃👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

FFS Man this park has bn in decline for at least 30 years , last time I was there was about 20 years ago & it was sh#t then. Blackpool was always the better option when I was younger but its probably not the same either( ah there's a video if u haven't already) 😊 This looks like something out of that Fallout series😳 I'd be scared looking for a keyring in there at night 😂

Yeah the park is well past it time and if they dont invest it will close down as no way they can attract customers with what is left at the park, yeah was never even close to what Blackpool even when at its best it was not a patch on any of the major Theme parks, Loudon castle had more. I have Fall out on watch list i hope its more exciting than i was when at this place lol , Good comment mate 😃👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

thanks bud. I probably need to start with a cheaper one. I have an Electric Scooter that goes 65km & off road., lots fun . , I have lots of trails & great scenery so was thinking I could put the drone on follow with some audio & hopefully folk might like it. Fallout isn't normally my thing but I did enjoy it. Should be a season 2 . have a good one 😃

I used live in Scotland Cumbernauld so sad 😭😭😭 😭 😭😭😭 to see my once local theme park go to the dogs it's heartbreaking to see it like that no decent rollercoaster for adults such a shame to see it in such a state instead of building that high ropes they could have spent it on some decent rides and rollercoasters m&ds isn't like it used to be 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Best part of that place is the 10 pin bowling with restraunts, the park itself is terrible amd costs a small fortune. You get better rides at the gala day 😂

You've got to remember this is a company that was in administration. It wasn't bought over by new owners or investors. They can only build on what was left after the administration forced the sale of assets to keep the park alive. Yes, the place is poor, but it is still in a very delicate financial position. They can only slowly build on what they have left.

Yeah i get that mate but there is nothing basically here, kids are board and asking to leave after 1 hour and when dont invest back into the park no wonder the customers stay away, it needs a new owner who can afford to invest in new rides not one that sells off the only half decent rides they have and buys poor 2nd hand ones that another theme park has basically got rid off. They should not be sign posted as Scotland Theme Park as even when was open Loudon Castle was far better so they really should of owned that title. End of the day Scotland is crying out for a New to be proud of Theme park, we are all bored up here with no decent Theme park North of the Border 😩👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Place is a shit show shadow of its former self and its former competitor louden castle Yet u get all the snowflakes objecting to a theme park of flamingo land quality at loch lomond as they only care about their house values Tbf weathers an issue for scottish parks but i always ranked louden castle better than mnds but go with the old butlins idea inside section for rides u would see in say irn bru carnival and then have an outside section for coasters and bigger rides Scotlands theme park was and always is louden mnds just has ease a access due to the m74 owners dont gee a toss google will show folk why

Yeah Totally agree with Loudon Castle being better another main reason why this place should not be sign posted “Scotland Theme Park”. Wasn’t aware about the idea of a Loch lomond Flamingo Land Quality theme park was on the cards for there until residents objected but we defo need something like that here as there is actually nothing to do Theme park wise 😯👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@Droneauditsscotland I think personally for something of louden qaulity or the old butlins from the 90s idea at craigtara easily looking at a 30 - 50 million investment and I'd personally do the butlins route an indoor warehouse like section and outdoor section aswell for some of the bigger roller coaster esque rides bit geographical location is key and probably why mnds still does ok is it's m74 links think personally the m80 with cumbernauld area would be a dominant shout plenty of land and industrial areas were it could work but again money is key and ideally a 30 - 50 million investment would get you something of the 90s butlins era or cadonas in Aberdeen
