Every time I come back to this video or any Adkins video for that matter, I get SO .. I don't even know the word for it. I understand where people are coming from when they say Ben will be great but when they say that Scott can't act or he's too short that just drives me crazy. In Gohan's video he made perfect sense with how he said Scott's actually perfect height to be the right amount of short against Superman! Superman's always been taller and now Ben's going to tower over Henry, so how the F*ck does that make sense to all you height critics? ALSO even if it were TRUE that he can't act, cmon all Batman needs to do is grunt and be dark, which anyone can do, especially when half their face is covered with the cowl. As for the bruce part, there's even a video on youtube called SCOTT ADKINS CAN ACT and he ACTS just fine and I definitely saw the Bruce potential in him. And now of course the looks, everyone's been saying BEN looks just like him, are you kidding? Scott looks way more like Bruce than Ben. Scott's the one with black hair for chrissake. He'd be the first black haired Bruce since Keaton. AND NOW REALLY OF COURSE! Scott's MMA. I'm so glad we finally saw Batman's MMA skills in a live action movie - SAID NO ONE EVER. I'm so happy that even Scott mentioned that it's never been done and that the people have always wanted it. Did anyone notice how all Bale did was throw ELBOWS? With Adkins, we could have actually had the ARKHAM TRILOGY gameplay in A REAL LIFE MOVIE. IT'D BE BOYKA IN THE SUIT FFS! On a side note, Bruce has always been more handsome than Clark, heck he even stole Lois from him just from bumping into her. In a non-homosexual way, Scott IS a good looking guy, better than Ben imo. So overall, Scott should've got the part, why? BECAUSE HE'S ACTUALLY BRUCE/BATMAN IN REAL LIFE. Idk man, as a die hard passionate Batman fan .. This stuff just gets to me. I beg to differ. Scott has pretty much been playing Batman and Bruce Wayne his whole life. Not only has his life itself gone through some similarities to that of Bruce, but his entire film career is astounding in the fact that every single solitary film he's done, oddly enough, has at least 1 trace of Batman in it somewhere. It's so surreal. That combined with the fact that he looks exactly like Bruce Wayne, I'd say he was destined to play the role.

Also, if you look at Arkham Asylum and that whole videogame franchise, you'll notice how similar Adkins' fighting style/approach is similar to the fighting style they create with the Batman in the videogame. Obviously that's not a hugely important element to the grand scheme of a film but it really enhances the realism of the Batman/Wayne figure. Hand-to-hand combat doesn't define Batman but for sure it might make a possible film way cooler. Great video. Really inspiring. I enjoyed it.

I had doubts before watching this vid, but HOLY SHIT am I sold, not only does he look like a Bruce Wayne, he moves like Batman would. He probably wouldn't get the part due to his limited acting range, but if Hollywood can train actors to do stunts, they can give the guy tools to be a "better actor".

He's got a nice regular voice for Bruce, and if you watch Undisputed 3, you can see he can put on a nice deep voice.

Scott Adkins has already been confronted by Warner Bros. to come audition for the role. Rumor has it, he's already auditioned. I've also seen many people who work at Warner Bros. share my video and the hashtag supporting the cause.

I assume that means you've never seen Adkins' film "Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning". In that film, much like Bruce, Scott's character has his loved ones murdered right in front of him, causing him to go to achieve vengeance upon their murderers.

The sequel's coming out, and according to Scott, it's better than the first. In fact, he said that the final fight scene is...impressive. Can't wait for it.

Whoever at Warner Bros. thought that Orlando Bloom would have been anywhere close to a relatively "good" Batman must have been hopped up on every drug available on the planet and then some. He's a great actor. Loved Will Turner in Pirates. But Batman? PFFFFFT

When I mentioned this months ago no one agreed but now with the announcement that Batman will be in the next Man of Steel people are finally considering his talent and I'm so tired of these "acting" ability cries for God sake we are not talking about someone that hasn't already stared on the big screen, I am in huge support and have been since the end of Nolanverse and his followers. If you've seen movies like Day Of Reckoning, you'll see that he can play characters who go through traumatic events in their life that have them want to seek out vengeance, much like Batman. Adkins could certainly do all of those things better than Christian Bale did. That, I promise. If you've seen, as stated above, Day Of Reckoning, or even Assassination Games(something to the similar effect occurs), you'll see he's able to pull of these deep characters seeking revenge.

He could pull it off. Like I said, the man's highly adaptable in combat. That's view-able in Undisputed 3. He realizes that his usual techniques don't work against Dolor, as he'd been watching him throughout all his fights until then. So he had to change up his techniques in order to win.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in a lot of arthouse and indie productions. So was Ewan MacGregor. And Paul Giamatti. Even Obi-wan himself.

Congratulations. Gosling can act. You now have a Batman that has no idea how to fight, looks nothing like the character, and is playing a character he couldn't possibly even begin to understand. Oh, but at least he can act.

Um, in all his movies? Literally, if you take the characters he's played in all of his movies, put them together, you will get Batman. Or a person who's very close to him. And he can relate to him because Scott also had a traumatic event occur to him during childhood that made him want to change his life for the better and become stronger so that the event could never happen again. Much like Bruce. I never said the MOVIE was dramatic. I said his role was.

Actually, Mary Jane was removed from TASM 2 solely because of story. In fact they had already shot her scenes. But they deleted them because they were so small and felt it would be a bad way to introduce such a big character. She'll be in the third movie. And tbh, only reason people are hating on the casting choice is because of a few photos that are going around that an amateur paparazzi-man took when it was a cold day and she wasn't wearing make-up. Look up Shialene Woodley. She's quite cute.

No problem man. Ninja's a great flick. A bit low-budget, but entertaining. In fact they're making a sequel. They're currently filming it. We could maybe be seeing a limited theatrical release with it. Hopefully so. And if you're interested and have a Netflix account, 3 more of his films are on there: Undisputed 3(you don't need to watch the other two; any needed information is given to you through flashbacks), Assassination Games, and Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning; all good flicks imo.

Scott is perfect he'll showcase Batman's fighting prowess perfectly. He's 5'11 and Henry Cavill is 6'1 so it works out since superman is slightly taller than batman and he's a decent actor. This has to happen.

Guys scott Adkins has been in English dramas like EASTENDERS, HOLBY CITY, HOLYOAKS just to mention a few. These are all big dramas in the UK. He even has the Deep Batman voice, unlike Bales Bat voice

Okay then. In his new movie coming out titled, "Legendary", Scott Adkins plays a scientist. There. He's now had experience playing intelligent roles. He HAS done an American accent in both Ninja and Legendary. And I only showed a handful of clips to showcase a bit of his acting. No one would watch a video that's over an hour long just explaining every tiny detail. I gave the majority of the problems, and anything else I expected people to be able to find out on their own by watching his movies

Ninja, Undisputed 3, Universal Soldier Day Of Reckoning.

Those 5'11" to 6' guys are some bad asses any way,like their hight is the perfect ,average hight to rumble,and looking good while doing it.

Seeing as it's more likely than ever Batman will pop up in the CWverse eventually, cast Scott in the role - Oliver Queen would shit himself stupid upon encountering Bats for the first time.

Also, Christopher Reeve had won 6 awards. Got nominated for a whole crap ton, too. Before MoS, Henry Cavill got nominated TWICE for the award, "Cause You're Hot"(which has nothing to do with acting), and that was it. That was the only crap he got nominated for. So if Adkins isn't worthy of replacing Bale because of awards, then Cavill isn't worthy of replacing Reeve. And even though Reeve is a legend, Cavill did a fantastic job in Man Of Steel with very little under his belt. Adkins could too.

...Expendables 2 isn't even a B-movie. And Undisputed 3 won an award. That's actually one of his best films, and PROVES he's a good actor. Many Oscar-winning actors such as Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver have tried putting on Russian accents, but there's sucked. It's actually VERY hard to put on a Russian accent and make it sound believable. Scott did it extremely well.

Uh... no. You also see him do it on hardwood. He's injured himself many times on-set doing this. Ninja II he even hurt his back because he had to do multiple takes of doing a flying kick and landing squarely on his back. No wires, no padding; he busts himself up for his movies.

...What? No. Even if you've read every single comic and seen every movie and acted the exact same way he would, if that's not what the director wants, he'll tell you otherwise. And dude, that's WHY THE DIRECTOR IS THERE! That is his JOB. His job is to tell the actors how to act. A good actor pulls off what the director wants him to do. That's why people normally want good actors, because they can easily pull of what the directors want them to do. *headdesk*

Well, they used actors for fight scenes (free runner, kendo) and Henry was an example. Matrix, Man of Steel is an example of "no fighters" same like they didn't need a strongman to play Bane :P

It's almost impossible to just show scenes without any exterior context and just say, "Look. Acting." You'd have to actually watch his movies to judge his acting ability.

As a fan they damn well do. We're the ones who goes to their shitty movies. We're the ones who put money in their pocket. They owe US everything. We owe them nothing. NO ONE WANTS HIM AS BATMAN. No one! The most POSITIVE thing people have to say is, "I won't judge him till I see the movie." No one looks at him and says, "Wow. He's PERFECT!" Yeah, no.

Batman/Bruce are two different personalities of the same character, which shows how complex this role will be. The actor should make us believe he's capable of solving crimes while kicking major ass. But also makes us feel like he's that depressed guy obsessed with revenge. In my humble opinion, I Adkins might not have what it takes in his acting tool box to play a the Batman we deserve on the big screen. I hope I'm wrong because Bale couldn't pull a decent fight scene, but had everything else.
