I linked on to you during the Avalanche series. I live in Colorado, and commented a few times during that series. I have kept following and will keep following you. It's so refreshing to listen to sports talk without all the "over the top" nonsense. Keep up your great work, I do appreciate it...

Might be wishful thinking, but I would love to see Woodcroft on the coaching staff. He’s young, has seen success in his stint with Edmonton, and most importantly, knows what it takes to have an effective power play.

Woodcroft was fired!

@@leithschroeder7050 You said Woodcroft had some some success in Edmonton. I like to qualify that “until he was unsuccessful and was fired”.

I'm not at all sold on Arniel as Head Coach for the Jets. I hope he proves me wrong, but I do think he's good as an assistant. More of a detail guy than a leader of men. I guess we'll soon see what he's got. Really hoping he works out, but not convinced he's the right man for the job.

The 3rd line needs to get bigger big like the captain. The jets need a line that could put fear in the opposition with a crushing hit even dirty hit like the caps tom wilson.

They need guys who can play a lot more than they need goons, their problem wasn’t that they couldn’t hit, it was that the were totally incapable of moving the puck and the defence decided the front of the net was free real estate

I am not sure if I like this or not. You can’t say True North isn’t loyal though!

Obviously I can't say this is good or bad, but my honest opinion is that true norths loyalty is going to be their downfall

Agreed. Unwavering loyalty doesn't win championships.

So who should they have hired cuz the big names don’t come here.
@johndoe4034
@johndoe4034 Месяц назад
@jj204 they can definitely get a bigger named coach, I mean let's be honest, might not be the best but Maurice was a big name coach, bones was a big name coach, been around forever. The fact of the matter is they didn't even try, sure they said they interviewed some people but we all know it was a smoke screen. They were going to go with arniel no matter what as it's the cheap option. The problem with the jets is they don't want to shell out any cash, we will never have the mcdavids or Matthew's because we will never hand out a contract like that, and sure it's not always a good thing to do but we will always be mid tier at best because we will never have the high profile people as someone else will always pay instead of us.
@johndoe4034
@johndoe4034 Месяц назад
@jj204 to add to my comment this whole people don't want to play here isn't as bad as people make it out to be, people don't come here because we don't pay. We got lucky with signing scheif and helle who honestly at least scheif isn't even worth what we gave him but that's a whole nother argument. People would come here if we just pay them to come.

I agree that they can't carry on being loyal to their staff 😊 3:50
