It’s taken 11 years to finally discover this clip! I consider myself amongst QL’s biggest fans as thus feel I’ve failed now lol! Very nostalgic too with LK in her youth. There again 29 years ago..... That came round pretty quickly.
Lorraine Kelly is the interviewer, she has had a long distinguished career, she's not merely a Scottish Lady as she's been reduced to by these comments. I found that insulting! People should really do their research before they post comments and find out about the people they are commenting about! I have grown up with her being on Television.
@Fay Why are you being such a troll? All I did was thank the person who posted the old footage. To say the interviewer is "sweet" does not reduce or deny the fact that Ms Kelly had a "long distinguished career." What is your problem? Why should I have to do research before posting a nice comment? You certainly didn't do any research before posting a nasty one. And I certainly don't understand why you single me out for your rage when "Sewer Shark" posts just above me essentially the same comment.
kumari de silva, calling people names publicly is a form of attack, my comments were generic to one and all, I mentioned no one by name, I merely pointed out that just saying Ms Kelly is Scottish seemed to me quite demeaning, in other words she has a name and if this had been looked into, it would have been nice to have had it used, rather than her being referred to as the Scottish Lady. You are in the wrong, not I, you called me a Troll and why? One of only a few comments, I have ever posted on you tube or indeed the whole of the Internet and I get insulted, mon dieu! I'm shocked and appalled that one is unable to comment without verbal attack! I suggest you retract your reply!
@fay I did not refer to Ms Kelly as a Scottish . korgpa4x korg. did. Calling someone Scottish is NOT name calling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scotland is a country some people hail from. People from Scotland are Scottish. AND I wasn't the one who made the comment. if you READ the thread it was some user name korgpa4x korg. If Ms Kelly is Scottish the comment is not demeaning. The comment as written acknowledges her accent as "very unique" Since when is "unique" considered "demeaning" ? Just because you have taken offense? This is a light hearted video that many viewers enjoyed. People are allowed to have an opinion on whether an accent is unique or not without having to do research as you suggest - There is no reason for you to be replying specifically to my post with hateful commentary. If you want to make a generic statement - start your own thread and did not call you a "Troll" I asked, respectfully why you are being a troll? Why write such an angry, mean spirited comment - suggesting I am not entitled to make positive commentary on this video? I did nothing to engage you.. I don't even know you. I just liked the video. I have no feelings whatsoever on the length of the interviewer's career or if you enjoyed watching her as you grew up. in sum @Fay you are the only person I ever met who considers "sweet" an insult and "interviewer" demeaning.
