Dana White just can't stand the fact there are other MMA organizations. He bought out Pride, WEC, Strikeforce, and Cage Warriors. EliteXC, Affliction, Dream, and Eagle FC all collapsed. As if he doesn't have a monopoly over the sport. I miss all those organizations.

Dude let top fighters go to not pay them, cut dominant fighters because he didnt like their style etc. He kept khabib on a back burner as long as he could because we all know he doesnt like grapplers. Just look at how he avoided giving Nate diaz fights in the end, then gave him khazmat hoping to have him dominated to ruin his fighter image so no other promotion would take him on.

Idk, a bellator and pfl merge could be good. No one's watching either of them much, at least compared to UFC. I might catch it on rerun but it's not a live event have to watch kinda thing. 🤷🏼♂️
If you mean the top 10 in each division, that would be a massacre. Bellator has some good fighters, but unfortunately they have nowhere near the depth of the UFC. The champions and top 1 or 2 contenders could probably be competitive, but after that it would not be very competitive at all.
The last 2 seconds for me confirms bellator being sold or shut down. He said we'll talk about it when it happens and quickly added "if it happens" to cover up
I was there last night, honestly the fights were okay, the best two, that got the crowd amped were Cyborg vs. Cat and Leah vs. Sara. The coolest thing about being there is being on the floor. You have to get there so you can walk around freely. Because I got pictures and autographs with Alejandra Lara, Nemkov, AJ McKee, Royce Gracie, Frank Shamrock, Dan Henderson, Ryan Bader, Josh Thompson, and the great Chael Sonnen. Cain Velasquez didn't take pictures with anyone. He was all business as a cornering. And lastly, Usman Nurmagamedov is huge, could definitely be solid 170lbr.
@esiba9044 The ticket was $350 total but I was in the section right where the seats start to rise in the 4th row. But since I'm in the middle of the arena, my seats were closer to the cage than most on the floor. Those same seats would be $1500 or more if it was a UFC PPV. Anyway security blocking steps to floor was so cool and he let us go back and forth to the section where all the fighters were sitting. If he was a hard ass security guy, my whole experience could have been different. God bless that dude. He let everyone go by to meet the fighters.
@aShamelessHigh You have to go once, you feed off the energy of the crowd and its so much fun. Yes, the UFC is king, but if you can't make it, then there's Bellator, which has great production and a solid roster. The prelims always deliver and the tickets are so much cheaper. Again, you'll be paying anywhere from $500 to $700 for the worst seats in the house at a UFC event. $300 and my seat last Saturday at Bellator was about the 10th row.
Cyborg is still the #2 GOAT. Sorry, Cat Zingano is 41 years old, lost to Julianna Pena and Ronda Rousey. Her real only claim is that she bested Nunes before she became the Lioness with cardio. Cris is still gonna be well known one day.
Cyborg is arguably number 1 and so is nunes. Cyborg has been champ in 4 organizations, has a better record, fought a longer list of elite fighters overall. Cyborg vs nunes 2 would be competitive. The same mistake won't repeat itself. Also Cat Zingano beat a prime miesha tate too.
Wondering if there is a way to get the Title payouts up to $2-2.5M. I am sure that investors can be sold on this, future stars still in their prime start looking at PFL as a top-tier option vs the UFC early enough in their career, just a thought.
You need to promote the brand more to make it bigger, Scott Coker. I get that you want to promote the fighters, but you guys need to do a better job of that, too.

You must be new to MMA. If you had been around for Strikeforce and understood where Bellator was when Scott took over vs where it is now you would feel silly for saying this.
Think about it,he is given a specific amount $ to spend and with that make the promotion big. With the owners trying to sell,it tells you that they feel that the company has grown enought to sell and make $. In other words they dont give scott enough money to make it more competitive.
I’d for the all three major US promotions to come together and all be under one banner and be open to cross champion bouts with One but i’ll stay dreaming until i’m 60 (i’m 25)
fyi coker Bellator is no strike force not even close,Bellator has alot of ufc rejects and alot of low level talent,Bellator is not worth close to 300 million,another company is better off letting Bellator dissolve then just pick up who they want,dont overpay for this company,strike force had real value,Bellator does not have real value,its to pieced together with over the hill guys and young low level guys with a few good ones

Scott talks a good game, and he seems like a competent guy, but who is going to want to buy something that doesn't make any money? Bellator isn't profitable. There was almost no hype for this 300 event. What a joke. Just let it die and the best guys can go to the UFC.

The joke is ufc apex arena cards, charging 84.99 for pay-per-view, merging with wwe and screwing fighters over storylines. Ufc is a circus and more elite fighters are choosing to go to other organizations

If Dana White had half the humility Coker has the UFC would be taken much more seriously by sports networks and sponsors. It’s still looked at as a sport for drunk guys at a bar because Dana feels the need to curse at reporters, talk down on the athletes, promote himself over the athletes, and make enemies with everyone and anyone who doesn’t kiss his ass.

Also Cyborg wanted a rematch but Dana white and his antics got under her skin. Cat Zingano and Julliana pena beat Amanda nunes. Cyborg will never let that happen to her. Cyborg holds titles in 4 organizations and has a better overall record
A little confused . Out of all the years mma has been around and the promotions that have come and gone. Bellator via Scott Coker that was already bought out by ufc The lackluster the promotion is able to build up hence older ufc fighters to kind of ride on for the big fights … I’m scratching my head thinking like huh … this doesn’t make sense. And then to have negative comments about Dana who has built that brand from the ground up doesn’t really make sense. Hats off to Coker to give it a fair shot but obviously something isn’t working out … The structure of the promotion The tournament style which hasn’t seemed to work .. like are we doing things backwards ? There’s something missing for sure and it has been for some time and that leads to continuous failure .. super well spoken guy but what’s really going on … At the end of the day this is a business like it or not it’s a business for promotion and the FIGHTERS, they put thier life on the line to make money this is their life So to not see what’s happening …what’s really going on The reason MMA is even still around to this degree is because of UFC and all of the men who sacrificed their lives to make this sport what it is today I think people need to look at the bigger picture at how things are being run
I’m really going to miss Bellator, but the UFC has a much more superior product overall. It’s tough to admit and even tougher to acknowledge, but it’s probably accurate ! 😖

That's how I knew that aljo took that dive against O'Malley. No concept of conflict of interest or anything like that. Dana may have been good at a time but now he's killing the sport.

Congrats to Bellator. Cyborg is not the greatest female fighter. She got knocked out by Nunes and than ran away from the UFC and what would of been the biggest rematch in Women’s MMA history.

Cyborg got beat and ran away to face easier competition. Goats don’t run away from challenges. She didn’t want the rematch. She wants to be in a place where she can bully her competition. That’s why she has almost always fought in the B leagues. Why hasn’t she fought Kayla Harrison yet? Weird how every big fight for her gets held up or doesn’t happen since she got knocked out by Nunes. She got knocked out in the 1st round. Stop acting like it a was one shot super early that put her out. Nunes put it on her for the entirety of the first round and it wasn’t even close. Knocking her down several times and eating some of Cyborgs best shots.

Cyborg vs nunes 2 would be more competitive. The same mistakes won't happen again. If you watch mma long enough you should know you can't judge it based on a quick finish. Look at Jose Aldo and Conor, people know that the same thing won't happen twice. Also Cyborg overall catalog is better than nunes, the record, the fact that Cyborg has been champ in 4 organizations, the longevity, etc. It's close and there is an argument for both
