@A W : She's not all that - think he was comfortable with her and the extended family that treated him as family - he has none. He will miss that more than anything else. That is what she brought to their relationship - her family. Let’s not pretend that kourtney was a saint. She absolutely made a bunch of mistakes (based on what we’ve seen on the show). Scott’s parents died back to back and she never seemed to be cognizant of that back then. Yes she gave him chances and he was very bad, for the record, but she is older than him and he clearly wasn’t mature enough to give her a certain kind of relationship. She knew. Can’t expect a 20 something to fulfill your almost 40 yo expectations. Scott also told Kourtney he didn’t want more kids and she basically tricked him into having more. All in all, there is way more to the story. Both parties were wrong for each other. And we can feel some sympathy for him while simultaneously being happy for her.

@@kf5338 Absolutely ! I did something similar. Only I was in my mom's house I drank all the left over drinks of a party she was hosting. I got drunk, took my clothes off, sang, danced and cutt my hair off. I do understand why parents are over reacting but nobody got hurt. It's not the end of the world. Let the kids learn their lesson and move on.

@@oceaneo4603 it’s more on the teacher that they didn’t notice that happening. I worked with kindergarten before and they get into things fast. You have to stay attentive and this teacher really didn’t pay attention.

So no it isn’t the teachers responsibility to check their students backpack EVERYDAY. It’s the parents responsibility to do that themselves. Imagine thinking it’s normal to expect teachers to check 20+ students backpack and meals everyday but thinking it’s not necessary for parents to check their 1-3 kid(s) backpacks lololol

@@FatoumaYassinchannel Thank you!!! Teacher here- there isn't enough time in the day to check 25 backpacks and you said it, it's not our responsibility. Let me set the scene. When I dismiss for snack students go to the hallway to get their food. Meanwhile, I clean up from the last thing we did and prep for the next content block. It is totally possible for her to have ushered her friends over to her backpack, shown them the bottles and offer them sips. Also, if it was the tiny bottles, it may have taken the teacher a few minutes to realize what they were drinking. If you think I ever consider checking backpacks for alcohol in kindergarten then think again. This is unfortunate but kids do wild things. My kindergarteners have brought playboy magazines, pads, a box of uncooked spaghetti, multiple bottles of perfume, moms wedding ring, and a curling iron. I'm not saying this isn't serious but it's possible that this little girl thought my parents enjoy drinks with their friends, I want to enjoy this with my friends. Foresight is not a skill most kinders have. Now, this a teachable moment for all parents. Think of all the things that need to be out of reach: weapons, cigarettes, vapor pens, cleaning supplies, and medications. I think the home does need to be checked on for good measure but I wouldn't necessarily deem her parents unfit unless there were multiple incidents.

@@beeexcited1431 exactly. At five their brains arent developed enough to know the physical and psychological effects of alcohol. Im sure she was terrified when they spoke to her about it bc she knew she was in trouble and just said whatever to appease the adults. Both my sons went to daycare. Headstart then kindergarten and all the kids who brought their lunch would have it scanned over for allergy food items bc peanut butter is not allowed at all at school. Everytime my sons brought their lunch a teacher or aide would help set their food out and they also were never allowed to share food. So its really suspect 🤔 as to why they didnt see a student, especially this young handing out little bottles of liquor bc we all know as adults the difference between alcohol bottles and juice boxes.

So who is to be responsible? You guys are underestimating these children same way they kill another child they cannot be responsible. At what age does responsibility applies? The access to information and the environment the children grow up in surely teaches them a lot. Her parents and her are to be held responsible, everything always on the school teachers, children a sneaky and there's so much and no more a teacher can see while they may be lazy but still. The parents and the child are to be accountable.

@@ramoyarichardson5823 to answer both your question, (1) children tend to be responsible for themselves around age 14 in the US, and (2) when a five-year-old kills another child, they are charged with a crime or sent to prison. The caretakers are the responsible party, and may be charged with negligence or some other crime. Once you get to a certain age (around 12-14 years old) the charge depends on your state's jurisdiction. The parents are responsible for allowing the child access to alcohol, but it is not the child's responsibility to not kill, get drunk, do drugs, or other illegal activities. But the teacher is most at fault for not paying enough attention to food/drinks. I can understand being so busy with 30+ students why a teacher wouldn't see everything, but thats a problem of class sizes affecting safety. This same teacher would have been more likely to notice alcohol with only 8-10 kids in the classroom. Another example from my personal experience is glass tupperware. I used to work at a daycare and once I wasn't being as mindful of the glass, and served an infant (1 years old) their food in the glass tupperware their mother brought their food in. The kid ended up throwing it on the ground and it broke. We had to make sure no children came close as the adults cleaned it up. it was both my fault and the mother's fault, because the rule for the daycare was no glass is to be brought in because we use plastic spoons and bowls for everything. I also was busy coordinating with my coworker and 8 other infants and I was thinking about multiple things at once so I had a lapse in judgment that I would not normally make. However, ultimately it was my fault, not the infant. The infant would NOT be charged if another infant got hurt from the glass. And frankly, its odd that you seem to think children 5 and younger are wanting to kill each other. These types of crimes rarely happen and young children do not lack empathy for each other....

I think Scott always thought Kourtney would give him another chance, she did many times in the past. Scott never expected that Kourtney would actually move on and not look back, he brought this on himself. It just proves he was too immature for her and she did right by moving forward with her life.

Scott said it himself in the show's episode. I can't remember his exact words but Loni said what was pretty much implied by him. He's dating a more aged appropriate model right now. I believe she's 27. It's not a winning strategy. It had selfish intentions. Using the young girls to pass time so he can focus on Kourtney. He was at Kourt's beck and call. That's why Sofia dumped him. She got tired of him putting Kourtney first. Kourt took so many years to take him back and he didn't want to stay lonely for all those years. He used young girls to fulfill some of his needs.
