For fifty years, the craftmanship that goes into creating comic book art has always fascinated me. This is the reason why I loved this show. The stories Scott has to offer makes me wish I had the luxury of spending more time listening to them. He is a wealth of information on comic book art. Thanks for the show Omar.

Excellent interview! So excited about the reprinting of DD Born Again. We need to know what's going to be in that Art Adams Marvel AE! Hopefully lots of 80s and 90s era X-Men.

These Artist Editions are the complete gold standard for comics art fans and I feel so very lucky to be able to be in a time when the dedication and hard work of Scott gives me the opportunity to collect them. Man, I really wish I caught this while it was live. Artist’s editions are seriously some of the best published books in our community. I really hope we can round out the classic X-Men artists with Silvestri and Romita JR. Editions.

I just got my first two Artist’s Editions this week. Byrne’s X-Men and Lee’s X-Men. And preordered Year One. And I am so excited to hear about Cockrum and Smith getting books as well.

Great interview! Love the lunch with Kirby story!! The Artist's Edition's is my favorite format & the Born Again AE is my favorite book. Mazzucchelli's Year One and Paul Smith's X-Men, Dr. Strange & LEAVE IT TO CHANCE?? Yikes! My wallet is running for cover😆

I own over 20 Artist's Editions now and love each one. What I would like is a John Romita Jr. Daredevil Artist's Edition... Maybe Man without Fear.

Two artist editions I'd love to see, John Buscema's Wolverine and the Frank Miller Wolverine. On both series, some of the best inking ever seen into the bargain.

Working at WildStorm?? I can only imagine the access to people coming through that studio. Maybe we'll see Artist Editions of J. Scott Campbell or Travis Charest.

I would love to see a Rob Liefeld Artist Edition. His New Mutants and X-Force rocks! He is the only one of the big three Image artists not to have an art book like this.

1.5 hour long conversation and less than 10 seconds about the Wrightson Frankenstein AE? Maybe coming mid 2025 now? What's the hold up and all the secrecy? This is the first I have heard Scott even bring it up in years. It was officially announced as "coming later this year" at SDCC in 2018.

I hope they are completed. And also hope the Daredevil Born again reprint happens. Apparently the Wally Wood one was unfortunately postponed.

@@gh778 I hear IDW is in trouble. I don't think we will see these done at IDW. Scott has said in his leaveing IDW statement that he has projects in the works. Were those projects land we might also find those new artist editions.
