this was a terrific Album by Richard Carpenter.. do you know why this album wasn't properly released.? I loved the way Richard used his skills with overdub. did you get to meet with Richard? I love the whole album and it should have been charted.

80’s were good but I wouldn’t trade today’s music for it. Some of the best music I’ve ever seen coming out the last 5 years, artists like Lana Del Rey, Ariana Grande, Avenged Sevenfold, Avatar, Melanie Martinez, Juice WRLD, XXXTENTACION, Pop Smoke, Young Dolph, Lil Uzi Vert, Shy Glizzy, Statik Swae, Young Nudy, Kodak Black, 6LACK… music couldn’t be better. Cleanest, clearest, most beautiful sounds, melodies, beats, perfect voices that are golden and unique. They definitely clash, but personally I’d take today’s music over the 70’s and 80’s music
This song should have been used in last night's episode of The Orville instead of Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Want To Have Fun. Scott's character looked like he was ready to burst into song in that scene.
Wow...I never thought I'd ever hear this song again. sisterdebmac, Walmart has DVD Recorders that convert VHS tapes to DVD. That might be your best bet.
I'm so glad I could post it. Finally got my hands a CD copy of the album last year. If I could find a way to convert my old VHS to DVD, I'd post the actual video. It's really cute. Maybe someday...

I might have to try that. I don't have a VCR hooked up at the moment, but I do still have 3 of them, and I know at least 2 of them are in working order.

Not 100% sure but was Scott Grimes more or less the only production job Richard Carpenter did outside of himself and the Carpenters? Just something he did as a favor to Herb Alpert (believe this record came out on A & M) or just something that came across Richard's desk and thought, why not? I had this on cassette (Yea, I am that old folks!) back when it was released and I was very impressed with the songs on it. Still holds up.
