Scott Hoying & Mario Lopez | Lost On You | LP and Hans Zimmer Cover | Reaction 

Oh man, I’m sitting here cheering and grinning like a fool and maybe a little teary eyed too, no lie. I freaking love this performance so much and have since the first time I saw it. There’s so much raw power and passion and pain in their voices and when they really let it rip - lord. Mario Jose has a VOICE. He’s also in the Superfruit cover of Rise, which will grab you by the heart, throat, ears and brain. As for this being a mashup, yes! Hans Zimmer composes orchestral music and this particular piece is from the soundtrack to Inception. Scott is some kind of genius to even think about putting that and LP together in the first place. You made my night with this. Thank you!

Mario was on PTXs crew and Scott got him to open at some of the earlier concerts... he is truly gifted... as are all the PTX members and their friends . I'm not sure if Mario is touring with them this year or not... I think you reacted to Rise... with Scott and Mitch, Brian Justin Crum , Mary Lambert and Mario... such talented people...

It was genius to put this song to a Hans Zimmer song from the soundtrack of Inception.

Mario Jose is an angel of a person but a BEAST of a Singer. He graduated from Berklee college of music and the acapella group that he was apart of in that college (pitch slapped) was on the third season of The Sing-Off the same as Pentatonix. Also you were right just like Scott he has auditioned for many of those Los Angeles singing television shows. I'm pretty sure he made it on American idol briefly. Like others have said he did tour with Pentatonix and remains very close friends with Scott. He has a lot of musical background and he's phenomenal. Thanks for this reaction. It's like I'm sitting here cheering them on. Scott is taller than Mario so he just bent his knees sort of in a squat and sang it from that position.

Great reaction! Mario is mythical beast. You need to get yourself some Scary Pockets covers. Mario appears in a bunch of those (Uptown Girl is fantastic). Be warned though, their stuff is INFECTIOUSLY FUNKY. I think they put some chemical in their music that makes you crave it fortnightly.

Mario is good friend with Scott and Mitch. He was on their crew for,a long tour. Scott is as good a person as he is a singer and this is a way for him to help promote Mario who has had some success but not like PTX. Scott often tries to help other singers. Beside this super cool mash up Scott is also practically doing the splits as he’s much taller that Mario.

Definitely check out LP's original of this song!!! Then give yourself the treat of hearing LP's version on Beyonce's "Halo." I'm still trying to put myself back together after hearing it a few times on repeat about 10 times last night. It's super exciting when a reactor includes multiple covers of a song for reference or comparison. Your reaction are informed like that and I love it.

Mario has done a couple songs with PostModern Jukebox. Anything by PMJ is worth a look whether it has Mario or not.
