Thank you for this very beautiful story... I believe I know who he came back as... As far as with his music, it continued... His music was popular still but he performed with 5 other of his brothers. He always did background music but his brother with his popular voice is what made his music popular.. His brother was the King of Pop but for singing and dancing not composing music.. Still he is very good with composing music. If you have an idea who I'm talking about. Check out his background... Look at his facial features... Check out his living and the things that happened in his life with his relationships and his music then check out his name... He has the same initials as Scott Joplin's first and last name plus his main instrument played was the keyboards or piano.. I believe we do come back and connect to whatever we didn't finish and I just gave it a thought of could this be him? If he actually knew he was him... and he is very popularly known for music... He's not as popular as he was known in the past but he is from a very popular family... Could he go back to his old music and finish his work before he passed? 😶😶😶😶🤫🤫🤫🤫 2022

Rick Benjamin who orchestrated A version of Treenmonisha.discovered that Joplin did indeed perform Treenmonisha with Orchestra several times lots of infomation can be found that was previously unknown in the CD book that comes with the 2011 Treemonisha on New World Records

@@Libertyparkmusic_LPM Yes The old rehearsal hall was just a myth the fact is Treemonisha was performed several times Rick Benjamin ever found a picture of the first Treemonisha check our that CD 2011 on New World Records

@@PJGRAND Thank you for your comment PJ! The Park Theatre performances were not mentioned in any of the Scott Joplin biographies we used for our research, not even the Grove Music Online encyclopedia. Our sources note that Joplin definitely “shopped” Treemonisha around the New York area and heard excerpts. It’s exciting to learn that he may have actually gotten to see and hear a fully staged version with costumes, staging, and an orchestra. It would also be really exciting to see The Guest of Honor if the score ever shows up.

@@Libertyparkmusic_LPM Rick Benjamin is a friend of mine i recommend you get the CD that booklet is a gold mine of infomation he dug up the fact that Treemonisha was perfomed several times around 1916 he also has a picture of the first Treemonisha Rick Benjamin is from Juilard and the head of The Paragon Ragtime ochestra im thrilled to be able to share this big puzzle piece with you i would get the CD asap that book is amazing

@@Libertyparkmusic_LPM Edward Berlin biography of Joplin is out standing but the large book that comes with the Paragon Ragtime Ochestra 2011 version of Never before info on Joplin and Treemonisha although Treenmonisha wasn't a hit it was performed several times with Orchestra also in 1915 Joplin arranged Frolic of the Bears for full Orchestra Joplin titled retitled it Dance of the Bears there was a review of it in the newspapers also Rick Benjamin dug up the fact A Guest of Honor was performed far more extensively and the theft of the box office recites didnt stop the Guest of Honor from proceeding Joplin left his valuable in a trunk to repay the Theater but the Guest of Honor tour continued on

Yes but you just put out a whole lot of false information about Scott Joplin so you're not serious about doing real research the additional information can be found in the booklet for the 2011 New World Records treemonisha was performed by Joplin many times with Orchestra in 1916 and I guest of honor Joplins first Operas it was performed far more extensively than originally thought too

Interesting question, I believe many were drawings, in researching this lesson, we found very few pictures available of Scott Joplin which is a shame since he was such an important musical talent.
