It’s not a payoff in the sense like that for AWB, Scott’s one is because Napoli has a wage structure and they are paying him less. Hence the payoff. Get your facts right

Casemiro is past his days chasing down players but he us actually a really good CM. Nobody mentions that united will play different players depending on injuries but also different formations depending on opposition. Mainoo mount and Ugarte need players of experience around them. Casemiro can raise his game and his experience he can control midfield. He's been exposed last year because he hadn't players around him or behind him. He was left in no man's land because of gaps. He's 32 gundogan is 33 VVD 32 how come they're not past it?

Keiran, I don't know what the fuss is about. This is NOT like Wan Bissaka. He is only a surprisingly low salary considering he was a first team squad player and we have not triggered the extra year on his contract. ALL players get compensation when they are still under contract. Just because he agreed to go to pastures new does not mean he is entitled to nothing. After all he is helping the club out massively so we can get Ugarte done and maybe something towards a striker. Good luck to him. Good player but NOT United quality.
Dear Daily Devil, Severance sounds similar: should settle Scott's *very reasonable wages* for the last year of his contract that United must honor/honour.
I disagree about Rashford being burned out. I think his only incentive to perform is money so we would need to wait till his contract is up for renewal to get a performance out of him again.
The full rebuild cannot really begin until all the Ed Woodward comedy contracts are played out. Players should not be blamed for insisting that the club honours those contracts. If it was you, you would do the same, unless you had some sentimental attachment to the Glazers.
There is an interest in every player as always. I liked your shown when you stood up for our club and called out those toxic fans and fan channels that seem to gain so much traction through click bate. Mctominay knows that if he stays for another year, he'll be 28 and can go on a free to earn anywhere north of 100k/week. Napoli is probably offering him similar money to his current United salary of 60k/week. Mctominay probably wants a payoff to leave now to offset the loss of a free transfer salary. AWB was a different case. He had a 1-year extension triggered in his contract. Mctominay still has 1 year on his contract, plus another that can be triggered by the club in December this year. It sucks but it's a lesson to the Backroom Leadership that a decision must be made on any player when they have 2 years left on their main contract before free transfers and extensions can come into play.
