Scott Peterson, the wrong man convicted? 

Putting an innocent man behind bars is very unfair but many things don’t add up. Very suspicious behavior - it’s been decades and People are forgetting - he sold his wife’s car while they were looking for her, he was caught at the Mexico border with his hair dyed blonde and carrying his brother’s license and many other things.

The stupidity of those who think some burglar did it. If a burglar committed the crime, do you thinks he’s going to risk keeping the body several days to dump it where Scott was fishing? No., he’s going to get the hell out of dodge and leave the body where it lay.

Yeah, right. He told the girl he was seeing that his wife had died . . . before she had died. He also called her from a memorial ceremony saying he was in Paris.

I have a real hard time even thinking that there are people out there who think Scott Peterson might be innocent. It's mind boggling.

I lived in Redwood City and followed this case closely - when Lacy went "missing" Scott sold her car, signed up for porn TV networks, ripped out a carpet in the house, went boating on Christmas Eve at the Berkeley marina (claimed Laci was watching a Martha Stewart show) where the bodies were subsequently found, changed his appearance, attempted to leave the country, told the woman he was cheating on Lacy with he was in Paris on new years eve when in reality he was at an event in Modesto to help find Lacy, etc. etc. - how can this be the behavior of an innocent person ?

Unless someone came forward and confessed to every detail about killing lacey - I will never believe that Scott wasnt the killer. For gods sake, he told his girlfriend that she was dead. And then she is actually murdered. I mean, come on.

Remember when his wife had “disappeared”, & he was on the phone with Amber Fry pretending to be at the Eiffel Tower watching fireworks? What kind of a psycho lies like that? Just to get laid?

This man told his mistress that his wife was gone, then a few weeks later she is murdered. I believe he is guilty.

NO WAY! he went fishing 100 miles away from his house and later his wife washed up on shore in the same place that he fished! 100 miles away from his house!!!! Scott did it no question at all !!!

So they think two burglars murdered her and TOOK THE TIME to wrap her body in a tarp, weigh her down with cement weights, take a boat way out in the bay and then dump her body? Really?!?!? They would go through all that trouble to dispose of a body? If it doesn't make sense, it's usually not true.

Dying one's hair yellow and taking off to Mexico with a bag full of cash, does not inspire confidence.

His family needs to face the facts that Scott commit this crime. He killed his beautiful wife and his unborn child. It’s so disgusting that this is still going on. His behavior tells the whole story.

I'm guessing this is clickbait, but anyone that watched the documentaries with the evidence uncovered knows there is no doubt this guy killed his wife.

I worked in a SoCal marina for 40 years....no one goes fishing on Christmas eve particularly when you have a pregnant wife. I've worked on xmas eve and it was absolutely desolate. I knew as soon as I heard his story that he was full of sh-t.

I am old enough to remember watching this trial and being quite invested in it. He is as guilty as they come.

I read a couple of books on this subject and watched just about every documentary I could find. And everything that I know about this case points to Scott being guilty.

He told amber his wife went missing 3 weeks before she did. He needed to complete the story he told amber. So he did. That’s all the evidence I need to not overturn anything

Scott Peterson defenders say that Laci’s “real killer” dumped her body in San Francisco Bay to frame Scott for the murder because everyone knows that’s where he was on Christmas Eve. My question is why would the “real killer” take the gigantic risk of doing that, knowing that law enforcement (and the public in general) were focusing on that area? All it would have taken was for one person to see the “real killer” dump Laci’s body and they get caught. Wouldn’t it be much smarter of the “real killer” to dump her almost anywhere else?

Im from modesto & remember this case like it was yesterday. The detective who specializes in these cases says scott had the best control of his emotions that he has ever seen. If anyone still thinks hes innocent please listen to the calls he made to his mistress when the entire city was looking for his wife. Their was no guilt, no care in his voice. Hes evil & cold blooded. Im so sick of these lawyers releasing evil back to kill more innocent people & babies😢 ( I know some are innocent ) but not this waste of a man !

The Innocence Project posted on their website that the Los Angeles Innocence Project filed these motions and that they are “wholly independent of the Innocence Project.” It sounds like they want nothing to do with this.

It is possible that he is guilty however it's not impossible that he's innocent.

I remember watching the original disappearance news reports and then the complete trial on HLN and Court TV with Nancy Grace and all the rest of them. Scott Peterson was guilty, dead to rights. SORRY. NO DOUBT. Lacey and Connor, the baby/fetus that never had a chance, deserved so much better.

The day they arrested him, he was on his way to Amber Frey's place. In his trunk they found a saw, shovel, duck tape, and printed Mapquest directions to Amber Frey's house

Guilty or not, the American media tends to decide on these cases before the jury. And, if the jury is NOT properly screened for bias, as it was the case here, well, there we have it... How many people have been sent to prison in this country for decades before they are found innocent...? And all of those cases for the very same reason, pre-judice. A pre-conceive opinion or decision due to "circumstantial" evidence.

So many things point to his guilt: he told a neighbor he went golfing but told everyone else he took his boat out on the water ( the same area where the bodies washed up months later) Scott went to the bay several times to look at where the police were canvassing the bay in boats looking for Laci but Scott never talked to any of the police while there...just watched. He told Amber he lost his wife Dec 9th, same day he bought the boat that no one knew he bought. He sold Lacy's car...was looking to sell their home. Used the babies room as office storage. Ordered the "nasty channels" on cable. Was talking to Amber while at the vigil for Lacy. When he was arrested. He had 15,000 dollars in the car, camping cooking products, knives, several credit cards, his brothers ID, 5 cell phones.. several changes of clothes, shoes. He dyed his hair and goatee. He also spoke in interviews of Lacy in the past tense. Was...vs is. A pair of pliers in the boat w/a strand of Laci's hair wrapped in them.

B.S. The evidence was overwhelming and he was at that same beach where the body was found, which is located 80 miles from their house. This is a joke of an article to even consider innocence or the 'reporters' did no homework.

Between the police, the media and the prosecutors, you never know what the truth is anymore.

Scott Peterson has a monster within his personality; I firmly believe, as a 28 year retired Police Officer and interrogator that Scott murdered his wife/dau I was very aware of this monster.

What was Scott supposed to tell Amber, “I’m actually not in Paris, the pregnant wife I said I didn’t have, she’s missing, and I have just finished intense questioning by trained detectives who think I killed her.” I don’t believe a common man is capable of committing a murder and leaving behind no physical evidence.

Well, so having an affair is something that happens with some people, but who would still be trying harder to keep up some lie when your wife and child are missing? I don't understand how someone could do that.

Scott's expression at 7:36 - 7:38 is saying all I need to know. Look into his eyes for those few seconds. His expression is deadly and sends shivers down my spine. He's sending a message to Diane Sawyer, and it's scary. Watch his body language at 7:14 when he says he told his wife about his affair. He closes his eyes and when he adds "in, um, early December" he closes them again. That's a sign of someone feeling discomfort with the topic being discussed and trying to block it out. His mouth is turning downward, showing displeasure. He's all of a sudden doing a lot with his mouth and it's telling me that what he's saying is a lie, but even more than that, this was probably the very moment things got out of hand and he's seeing it all play out in his mind as he speaks, which is making him uncomfortable. He is absolutely, 100% guilty. What I find really bizarre is that he'd only been seeing Amber for three weeks and that was enough time for him to decide to become a killer and take not only his beautiful wife's life, but his first child's as well. That's the most exciting time in a lot of people's lives; the birth of their first child. I don't understand why he didn't just get a divorce if he was unhappy. Did he really think he'd get away with it? That's the deluded confidence of a psychopath. Jon Buehler stated that Scott had "incredible emotional control. One of the best I've ever seen in my life". He also said Scott was aloof, which means he made no connections on a human level. He only affected emotion when it was useful to him, such as when telling Amber it was his first holiday without his wife (who was still alive at the time, I believe). This is all sociopathic behavior. I would be shocked if there is to be any evidence that could prove to me that he is not guilty of these horrific crimes.

I was not aware his death sentence had been reduced. I hope he was given life without parole. It would be a shame for the family to have to relive this every few years each time he comes up parole. Her parents would have to be concerned about who will continue to fight to keep him in when they are gone. It would become like Charlie Manson and his group of killers.

Scott told his mistress on December 9th that his wife had died & that this was his first Christmas without her! On the same day he bought a fishing boat & researched tides in the bay! He claims that Laci was watching Martha Stewart make meringues when he left on the 24th. The meringues section was 48 minutes in to the program, which means he left after 10am, not 9.30am. The neighbour found their dog at 10.18am. Plus Laci had to be helped in to the house as her ankles were so swollen & couldn’t walk the night of the Xmas party! Doctors orders told her to stop walking the dog in October, which is when she stopped walking him! When the bodies washed up on the shore, Scott didn’t even bother calling the police to ask if it was his wife & unborn son! That speaks volumes! He sold her car and put their house up for sale shortly after she went missing… because he knew she wasn’t coming back!= GUILTY!
