I get most of the information through Russian documentary news and then compare it with American news. It's like day and night. I saw on the Russian news two Ukrainian soldiers captured by the Russians, they explained that they got orders to kill the residents in the Kursk villages, and one soldier said:" He refused to do it." A few Ukrainian soldiers surrender to the Russians. A young Russian general on the field was talking to a Russian news anchor and he mentioned that they had eliminated most of the tanks, in the Kursk area and many Ukrainian soldier casualties.

Many thanks to both of you. This was an amazing interview. Scott had enough time to explain and comment on critical issues. It is so important to hear about the true and ugly face of war from someone who has experienced it. Young people need to hear this, so they will be ready to push back against those old disgusting warmongerers who would pee in their pants after encountering soldiers pointing rifles at them. It`s so very easy to promote war while sitting in a cosy armchair, knowing that not you but others will do the fighting and the dying for you.

I had friends from Great Britain, who in the 1970s visited countries behind the Iron Curtain, such as Bulgaria and Romania. Their relatives in Great Britain thought they were crazy! As they returned after a lovely trip, where random people in those countries invited them into their homes and cooked dinner for them, while not even speaking English. Anyway, their conclusion was---'It's not the people, it's the governments', that create enemies out of nations.

I’m a former officer who served at U.S. Army Forces Command Headquarters (HQ, FORSCOM) After a major reorganization of the army in 1973, the then newly-established FORSCOM Headquarters commanded every U.S. Army combat division in North America. My great-great grandfather AND five of his six brothers enlisted during the War Between the States. I’m a 4th generation army veteran, born at an army hospital in occupied W. Germany. (While stationed there, my father worked in a building and an army post built for the German Wehrmacht in 1935.) My father, raised by his German grandmother after his mother died from TB, joined the National Guard as a high school junior in 1934. He stayed and finished school, but during the depression, enlisted as an infantry rifleman for the drill pay to help his grandmother. He was a 25 yr old Master Sgt during WWII who was offered a commission when the Korean War broke out. He served through Vietnam and retired in 1966.
