Well, guess I won't be getting it. You have to have cell service??? I don't think I've taking anything ever off road where I have had cell service. What a wreck.
Ride command would work WAY better if you used 950 mhz radios that take over when the cell coverage is not there. Or allow ride command to be compatible with BEARTOOTH tech.
I just finished a 420 mile ride in NV, AZ, UT, with 12 other UTV'S. There was no cell service except near Mesquite, Mt. Carmel, LA Verkin. So, group ride contact with PRC would have been negible.
Where's the updates? Where's the dang On/Off button for the radio (you mean I gotta mute the audio and listen to hiss the whole dang time)? Why do I have to listen to a whip cracking POP every time I shut the vehicle off? You've had more than enough time to fix this obvious oversight, and that doesn't mean having my dealer install a separate radio and disconnect the audio functionality of the RC unit!
It really doesn't matter the cost but as of a new app I will check it out I am new to riding trails and I own a ATV 400 Arctic Cat less then 1200 miles on it, the most enjoyable time I had up north in Gaylord, Mi in Johannesburg, Mi was the trails exspecially the sleds that compacted the snow down but we also made our own tracks but when you follow people it's probably not a good Idea to make tracks on some one private property like we did last night and if it was for the conpass I had downloaded on my phone we would still be tracking hey I had a Great time a pair of Carharts overhauls and a Steve & Barrys Down Goose Jacket. With a pair of water & Wind proof Mitten 👍👍👍
If you have a downloaded map downloaded on the Polaris app for offload use will the gps still function on the screen with no cell service? When connected to phone?
The ride command is great if you have service but my qyestion is I hook up my ipod and it will not connect . I made sure it was updated I push the ipod button and nothing happens I even try a diff wire nothing . Is there a trick to make it work????? IF I plug it in my Harley no problems .Plz help
