Not sure why they compare him to Draymond who was never near as heralded coming up as Barnes. You guys know that Barnes was a higher rated recruit than Suggs last year on ESPN 2020 recruiting class at #,behind only Green Cunningham and Mobley and ahead of Suggs at #6. Kuminga was 5. He is way bigger and more athletic than Green who can barely dunk

He gets by with heart and hustle and is very important to have on a team with Steph and Klay type shooters though. But whoever compared Barnes to him is out to lunch except in defence and team leadership personalities. Barnes is way more talented athlete and better scorer than Dramond at 19 lol

Dan Nguyen that would be a horrible pairing. Lengthwise that’d be tough cause they both long and pretty athletic, but the spacing would be trash.

Cameron Ferguson I agree. If the Knicks have any sense: Lamelo, Toppin, or Deni Avidja this year and then (if Lamelo) Jalen Johnson or Zaire Williams/ (if Toppin or avidja) Suggs next year

Anthony Deshields I like that because I think it could really amplify RJ’s talents (which I’m skeptical about to begin with, I’m much lower on him as a prospect than a lot of people, but that’s a different conversation) but with Lamelo and Jalen Johnson, I think he wouldn’t have to the number one guy and primary shot creator, which would bold well because I think his true potential lies as a secondary ball handler/facilitator and defensive wing, with some driving ability. Not being some crazy scorer, which I think people think he is or will be.
