While I understand there is a “conventional” swing you would teach like Freddie couples..I look at golf swings more like batting stances. Compare Rahm and Scottie and both are probably the two best in the world with polar opposite swings..at the end of the day, everyone will have their own little unique fingerprint on their swing. What matters is flushing the ball with a repeatable comfortable motion.
Agree with the Fred Couples comment 😂 but his point is valid 💯. Whatever works for you and your body to consistently hit the center of the face the ball doesn’t care how pretty your swing looks!
It's definitely not what you would teach. Certainly pulled inside a touch on the way back and then a bit steep coming down, but hey who am I to argue with a guy who rode that swing to a Masters victory and the #1 ranking in the world. Prime example of It's not what it looks like, it's about getting the ball in the hole in the least amount of shots.
