@@e-_-xcited yeah, I do this shit every day mate..... that's his sgt.... the rank on his arm alone gives it away.. but hey ho, you clearly know best 🥱 lizard
@@peterdorscheid5652 Leather soled with hob nails so basically they are walking on nails as they project below the leather sole. These are SCOTS GUARDS not Scottish Guards although most do originate in Scotland. You might notice that the Guard who stayed behind is a Sergeant. Sergeants and high wear a red sash as well as having three gold chevrons and more. 3 Silver Chevrons is a Lance Sergeant a rank particular to the guards.
@@erwincigarroa2401You could see that cobblestone was raised where his boot caught it, causing him to fall. So kind, his fellow guard stopped and helped him, and they got right back on track marching in sync.
@@GeorgieW1789 I don’t care how highly trained they are, their jobs are useless and dumb, parading around in silly costumes like they’re actually important
He hit the spot where there were no cobble stones & slipped! I hope they got that fixed! All the others probably knew to step over it! Blessings on him & the man who stopped to help him too!!😊😊😊
Its a drain cover! And they can't see where they are going as it is! They have to to polish their shoes and the tower of London gaurds are voluntary. This is not the Palace just a tourist attraction these days.
@@Drew-od4dh his "partner" would broke the protocol if he didn't help, he's sgt and he has to be at the back of this formation and keep an eye on his men
Because he HAS to, that's his sgt. can't leave his men behind especially when he's at the back of formation and i'm pretty sure he will use his kindness when making sure this will never happen again
The man who helped him was the Sergeant among the group, hence the three chevrons on his sleeve and the red NCO sash. It's his job to look out for the other men
Yea that is nice but I thought they are not allowed to do that ! I thought they supposed to march on regardless what happen, maybe a very very tight protocol ! Then how can they explain out the fact that they run over a kid ? If little adjustments are allowed then they certainly could have avoided the kid 🤷♀️
Incredible these guards pride themselves on honor and discipline. ❤❤❤Toronto Canada 🇨🇦. I would really like to see them in person one day and have them yell at me just love hearing the tone of their voices.
@@JeffreyChow what a sweet thing for you to say. 🙄 Not ALL Americans are rude, crass, and lack manners or basic decency. It’s generally ill informed to make such an assumption of the citizens of an entire nation because of experiences had or witnessed of a few. That is the attitude that causes foreign relations between countries to become tense. Much love ❤
My deepest respects to these folks who must be so tired and exhausted from their extra work these days. Kudos for the conpanion staying behind, his help was priceless.
Deus salve a nossa Rainha tão amada !
It's the shoes, there so dam slick on everything. You see him touch a smooth metal surface an goes down instantly. Think someone would fix that considering. About once a month we see someone fall, usually just walking casually.
yeah my respect is for the people for not laughing! in situations like this they laugh just to make the situation worse! but these people didn’t even giggle! RESPECT
Being a part of the armed forces myself....I will give utmost respect to all of them. The gentleman who slipped still held on to his rifle!! Kudos to you young man
Felicidades al compañero 👏 ese chico vale Oro, además éso le puede pasar a cualquiera lo único perfecto es Dios, el soldado se levanta con valentía.🙏👍🛡️🇩🇴⚔️
This wasn’t a mistake. It was an accident. As for him wedging his gun between his legs is a mistake. Thankfully a good friend was there for him.. those shoes must be slippery with cobblestone. I’m just glad he’s okay.
I don't think the fall was a mistake, his feet literally slid out from under him on the slick part of the ground. Now the "mistake" he was about to make with his gun, thankful for his buddy that stopped that.
I'm pretty sure that other soldier who helped him up is an NCO "sergeant" or a Warrant Officer "you can tell from the red sash that he's wearing", pretty much a more senior individual, a leader of sorts. So it's kind of expected that he'd go into damage control mode.
I think they should have all stopped to maintain unit cohesion. It would have looked better. I guess their not like America's Marines; "No man left behind."
si pero lo traicionó dejándolo atrás cuando el q ayudo se notó que esperaba que ambos fueran al mismo paso y el mal agradecido se adelantó ni las gracias le dio. 🥺
If a US service member were to do that they would more than likely be low in rank and have never handled a firearm. The gun isn't loaded but there is a bayonet at the end of it and the ground is slick. Dude is a moron.
I can Translate what he just said (the person that helped me was kind without that person who helped me who’d it be embarrassing to walk alone) that what he said
its not cuz he is kindhearted, i mean its absolutely kind but the other guards has to continue their journey not matter wat and prob one guard has to satu and help
@@PhonkFlipper Yeah I know that they can't stop for any matter but that guard just stopped and helped him to stand.. I mean that was a moment of kindness, because he didn't left him..
I've got a pair from surplus. They make a good field boot (as that was their original purpose), but a good dress boot on occasion. They slip very easily on any metal surface and some wet pavements, but one eventually learns how to walk in them without slipping. The occasional slide does happen, nevertheless, and some are more extravagant than others!
Respect to the Guard who never left a man behind. Also respect o the crowd for not laughing or taking the piss. You wouldn't anyway cos they'd kick your arse!
Dear people who say the officer didnt halt is annoying or egotistical, THEY CANNOT HALT FOR ONE PERSON , THEY WILL SIMPLY CONTINUE AND LET THEM CATCH UP!
