I play both. What is more challenging playing chromatic vs diatonic is not the weight. It is the left hand work. But the harmony you can deliver with a chromatic is much more powerfull.

I played both. My chromatic weighs the same as my diatonic did, hers there is definitely not that much more heavy, and it doesn't matter once it's on your lap. As Daniel says, finding the bass and chord buttons with your left hand is challenging at first, the hand has to travel much more than on the diatonic, but once that's okay... The chromatic is so much more versatile and useful than a diatonic limited to 2 scales plus some alterations... Wanna play in C minor? On diatonic, either get a new one, or use the alterations on the 3rd row to somehow make the scale work. On chromatic, well just move your hand one button to the right from A minor, and same pattern...

Est il possible d'avoir la tablature de votre arrangement ? je dechiffre l'original en ce moment, mais la rythmique de votre interprétation donne beaucoup de dynamique a cette jolie scottish. Cordialement David
