I was able to get fitted when the SC Gallery started fittings back in 2014. Before that, I ended up going through over 25 SC Putters that were off the rack. I eventually purchased a Tour Rat and really liked it. Eventually, I ended up wanting one without the adjustable weights. I was blessed enough for Scotty to make me a OO9 for me. He won’t make you one unless he knows that you’ll be playing with it. After a year, I eventually had him make me a GSS Timeless and it is very similar to Tiger’s. But before that, I got fitted again just to make sure that I was buying the perfect putter for me. The difference with a Circle-T in comparison to any other SC OTR Putters is the feel and the sound. There’s definitely nothing like putting with a Circle-T. I totally recommend it if you can get one.
@@LK-jq8yi Long story… But, when I originally got fitted, I asked my fitter if Scotty would be able to make me one. He said that it never hurts to ask. I eventually ordered a Tour Rat without asking. After 2 years, I went during one of the Black Friday openings and SC was there in person. I told him about the 25+ OTR putters that I bought and how 25+ people I know now have SC Putters. He was very thankful so I asked if we could take a pic together. I then finally had the courage to ask Scotty via email and attached our pic together. He said yes.
I bought a 009m from a bloke across the pond in England. Spent a pretty penny. I will never use another putter ever in my life. I have the T22 as a back up. I’ve had the champions choice button back 2021 my girl Newport 2.5 and the 2020 gone. If you’re a good putter and can’t feel the difference in balls at impact then you won’t get anything else. 009M for life
You've got the best quality Scotty Cameron putter with the Studio Stainless range Ali. A tour only or prototype one of those has to be the holy grail of putters. 🤞You find one.
I've played a few manufacturers, mostly Taylormade putters, but always wanted a Scotty, so had one fitted after testing a few of their 2020 models... i love my Newport 2 Select. Everyone has their opinion about pricing etc, but hey, if it works, then price should not come into the equation. I've never understand people who buy expensive items to just showcase them. But i would not spend 2k+ just for a special putter... £350 was enough for me. Buy it Ali, will be a great video of you buying it and then playing it. Keep up the great content.
Hard to justify the extreme cost without an extensive fitting, imo. I would spend soooo much time on a Trackman-type devise to insure that it fits my stroke 99% of the time. Otherwise, put the overpaid $3000 towards travel costs to play one or two courses on your bucket list. The memories of 18 holes and 4+ hours at 2 different courses with friends and family will exceed the the loss of a club that you already are proficient with. It's the experience, not how you get there.
What he neglects to tell you is you can’t actually buy a putter on Scotty Cameron’s website. The second they release a putter by the time you bring up their website they’re sold (often to be resold for profit). Even if you’re in their the second they drop, no chance.
I collect watches.. some worth a lot and some worth £20... if you can afford it, get it. It must be used though. My only gripe is that they are probably the same putters with T on instead of not having it on. Mark up rediculous

Not even a Scotty fan. My trusty old-school Titleist bullseye putter is from the year Scotty joined Titleist, but thankfully doesn’t have his name on it, so I can maintain my anti-Scotty stance. Nothing against the guy, just don’t like paying more for stuff because of a name. But that’s just me, I’m a weird cat who when everyone rushes to get something I look to go in the complete opposite direction. Don’t have Vokey wedges - they are all Cobra and they’re great, probably softer than Vokeys. Can’t stand Apple - only use an iPhone because that’s what work give me. You get the gist...
It’s the same principle as a Rolex…. It tells the time. However, if I could afford one I’d get one, but I’d definitely use it as I don’t believe in them being in a box.
I have a watch worth $17-19k and wear it almost everyday. I wouldn’t own a watch except to wear it. And I wouldn’t own a putter, except to play with it. I play a Toulon, BTW.
Toulon in my opinion is the best bang for buck putters out there 👏 great look and setup with exceptional feel. Game them when I play a game witb friends witb Circle Ts
I have a few circle T putters and I game them all. I love the look, setup, feel and the fact that none of my playing partners have the same putter. :) They won't improve your putting at all though. Probably the worst bang for buck putters out there :) I have a GSS Tour Rat 1.5, 009M SSS, 009M Carbon, a rare 009M Toolbox. Let me know if you've any questions. I would never buy anything i wouldnt use. If i bought a putter i would use it, if i bought a fine wine i would drink it, if i bought a super car i would drive it. I'm not saying i could or would buy any of these, but if you wouldnt use it as it was intended then dont buy it.
I used to collect Tour Camerons. Made a lot of friends from all over the world doing it. Have had player owned, special models such as 009s and GSS. Played every one I ever bought. I got out a few years ago but game a T22 Newport as I used to have a solid copper 009.
@@AliTaylorGolf My advice would be if youre gonna spend the cash get a hand stamped. They tend to hold value a lot better than the "OTR Tours" which include the Super Rat. I miss the days of $1800 009s with whatever stamps you wanted on them.
It’s a load of old pony really . Forget it man . Then again if you really want one and you can afford one , but it is a load of old pony and you probably know that .
