Just graduated tonight and this is my classes song. I would give anything to just have 5 more minutes of school. I already miss my friends so much. I miss school. Time really does role by. Feels like just yesterday my friends and I met for the first time in 8th grade.

Gosh, I remember hearing this song when i was younger and not thinking much of it. It feels silly writing about it hear, but im hoping someone might read, I suppose. Exactly 2 months and 4 days ago, my cat, Tuxedo, had to be euthanized. He had a urinary blockage and we couldn't afford anything other than euthanasia. I miss him so much. I don't want to sit and wallow in self pity, but it's hard to not cry every damn day. I didn't realize how much he meant to me until he was gone. I genuinely wish I had five more minutes. Even better, I would have hoped to take him home that day and give him cuddles and food. But, that just wasn't his plan. Genuinely, cherish your family (that includes pets). Cherish every single minute you spend with them, as it can disappear one random afternoon, so damn quick. And for anyone going through something similar, it does get better, and I hope the best for you

This song just goes to show that we as humans have to be appreciative of every single second that the Lord blesses us with.

I lost my dog back in 2014 he was like a son to me died of heart disease doctors said it was a miracle from God that he lasted that long but i still wish i had 5 more minutes with that boy. My great grandfather passed away in July and he told them to unplug his life support because he didn’t want any of us to see him the way that he was so he told them that it was time to go with that. God was coming to get him because God knew that he was a deacon for 15 years he was the best man on planet no way I can live without him. I miss you, papa.😢😢😢❤❤

Man I wish I could have five more minutes with my granny on my moms side. My granny was my best friend growing up as a little kid and up to the age of 13. She passed away back in 2010 and it broke me so badly. But I know she is looking down from the heavenly kingdom with the good lord. I love my granny :( . Coming up her anniversary of going home to God’s kingdom and I finally made sweet tea like she used to make. She would be so proud of me 😢.

I lost my Grandad, Chief Tech Bob Martin two years ago, after losing his long battle with cancer. He served in the RAF as a Vulcan Crew Chief at RAF Scampton with the famous Dambusters, 617 Squadron (1974 - 1982) He was such a huge influence on my life, not just for my love of aviation, but also because of my love and passion for country music and for being the musician/guitarist that I am. Both Grandad and Nana gave me the love that I have for Country music as they’re both huge fans of the genre and it’s made a huge impact on me and as a result, I feel so much at home with both Country music and the USA. Grandad emigrated to the USA in 1982 after 617 Squadron disbanded their Vulcan fleet and he went with my Nana Sara from Louisville, Kentucky. Grandad wanted to help me emigrate to the USA as living there is something I’ve always wanted ever since I was younger and since he sadly passed, I feel like my dream has been snatched from me!!! 😢 If only I could have Five More Minutes with him and get me out of the UK for good and to the US then I could imagine my life being much more happier. That being said, I don’t intend to give up on my dream as time is precious!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

My grandfather passed away 19 years ago and I would give anything to hear his voice again. A hug would be great as well since Pop was the best hugger. My grandfather gave me away when I got married and it’s still hard to watch the video. One of the funniest memories I have is when he would argue with the tv while watching Jeopardy. He would argue why he was right when he answered the question wrong. This song is a beautifully bittersweet song that Scotty sings with such heart. I find myself smiling or laughing through tears while listening to it.
