The legends Scotty Moore (guitar) and D.J. Fontana (drums) play in Sweden together with Patrik Andersson and The Rockers at the annual Elvis festival in Västerås in 1992.
A dam shame Bill Black is no longer with us, but the great men Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana are in this amazing film, never seen this before, it reminds me of the great Sun records in Memhis Tennessee
Scotty Moore o maior guitarrista de todos os tempos. Usa sua guitarra sem truques de eletrônica e sem malabarismo histriônicos, etc. maneco - Porto Alegre-RS - Brasil.
Thank you, I have never seen this clip before. Elvis was my idol and Scotty was my original guitar hero. He played some amazing memorable guitar on all those sessions for Elvis. I was very luck and met Scotty once and shook his hand after a concert here in London.
Man,,whatta kick to play with both Scotty & DJ I'd imagine. I played with DJ in a couple Elvis shows I did back in the day. Nice guy,,so was Scotty I heard. Scotty wasn't working with ETAs yet back then.
Brings back great memories.I was the singer in a little south london group back in 59.We did all those sun hits at teen dances round the area ,and youth clubs.I have a claim to fame ,our guitarist was a young up and coming 16 year old name of Albert Lee ( who soon will be 80 )
@Morten_Nielsen1979 Ha Ha.We were just a little local group of buddies .We all except Albert had jobs .He worked in a local factory for a short while spraying enamel water heaters. But when hw was not playing with us he was playing more or less as a stand in lead guitarists in London. Our drummer went on semi proffesional with diff 60s groups and even did some gigs with Gene Vincent. He was the only real talent and even he did not really take off till he moved to california in the 70s.
