A prelude episode in an eight-part series documenting my autumn landscape photography trip to the Scottish Highlands. In this video, I do some scouting in the Cairngorms and reflect on how I don't like doing photography on borrowed time around family commitments. The first composition is taken on the the Old Military Road facing in the Glenshee direction. And the second walk is a top secret location... I might not have got a photograph that I like, but I have plenty of ideas from this trip and need to return in the future to shoot the trees in snow and my favoured blue-hour conditions.
