Sometimes you just have to go if you are going to know! The lake down below turned out to be a solid fall back position for fishing but until I got around to the back of it I was thinking it was kind of a bust too. But then the hot fishing happened!

Mountain Goats up in there sometimes. But no fishies for us either. Kind of shallow also? Get some chow and good rest man 🤙🏻
Scouting missions that turn out to be a bust is just part of it. At least we know not to bother with this now unless it's just for the killer views up there.
