I like to think of the different SCP-001 designations as all being accurate, but all from the disparate groups that gathered to form the first proper incarnation of The Foundation. SCP-001 being the first major anomaly they each had to deal with.

Keter was named after Hermann Keter? Keter already has a meaning for which the SCP site used, right? That instantly gave me the 40k hammer vibes of retconning Land Raiders and Land Speeders so that they aren't named because they raid and speed over the land, but because they were made by Arkhan Land... It just seems like an unnecessary addition lol.

I consider this to be one of the best candidates for the real SCP-001. Do I think it's the first discovered anomaly? No, most assuredly not! But it being the first one the Foundation was able to capture? I can believe that.
