I think the "pestilence" is anger and fear, and if his patients cannot have anger, then conflict would not happen allowing a utopia to SCP-049'S eyes. However the way humans work, well you have to make them incabable of any emotion. Basically they become zombies.

Yeah. But it depends on the scp wiki itself, when you submit a scp you made yourself, it takes forever for the admins to get to it due to how many they get and they also have to review it and either allow it or disallow it on the wiki depending on the story-telling.
Look up the "wave" genre (there's a lot of wave, like synthwave, but the one I refer to is called only "wave"). If you have Spotify or whatever, check out these artists: Imer6ia, ØfDream (this guy passed away, but his stuff was great), Juche, Outsidr (really good). That should get you down the rabbit hole.

Actually...that does make sense. Kinda, at least? Platypusses do have beaks, excess skin between their toes and probably in other places as well to help them swim, they lay eggs, and the males have a venomous stinger on their hind legs with venom strong enough to paralyze smaller creatures and hurts A LOT to humans. The plaguedoctor has a beak, tons of excess skin that we do not know the actual shape of (as in what it would look like if "fully extended", for all we know he has some sort of wings wrapped around himself or a long flat tail...;D), he can lay eggs, and his hands can kill with just one touch, which could very well be because of some sort of venom either coating his skin, or maybe he actually does sting his patients. Its not as if he ever was very open about himself or his anatomy, so he could be hiding his true nature. ...is his French accent just another lie, and he is actually an Aussie?!?xD
Good ol' 049 just seems like the kind of guy who does things to benefit others in the long run, even if people don't understand or his image becomes tarnished in their eyes.

I'm pissed off I can't believe they killed the shy guy. He was misunderstood and didn't need to die. He was one of my favs. I hope there are more out there, and that the foundation doesn't find them. It's sad to think he was the only one and they killed him for no reason. I am hoping to hear someday they found a baby shy guy and that way we can see it grow up. That would be so cool.

I look at it as ending it's curse a mercy kill. In fact I think that what The Pestilence is those of an Anomalous nature or have come in contact with them . I think at something The Plague Doctor was human and unknowing ( or wiped his own memory of the event) to be an SCP killer.

1914 stronger then pretty much god himself? I honestly doubt it, 343 has been known to be one of the most powerful reality bender who can control everything, who most likely made himself think he is god, and made him pretty much as powerful, I think 343 defeated 1914

Make it so when they mention Elias Shaw, the video zooms out to the SCP Expert being confused and Hunter saying "What do you mean? This has always been his name." like the timeline got rewritten, which is pretty much what happened.

Theoretically, if you were to come up with a chemical or concoction that could dissolve the brain of SCP-096 and found a way for it to continue dissolving it’s brain, would it then be classified as safe?
@@dereksable9941 It’s not his sight thats the issue. Its if you see his face that he becomes aggressive, not the other way around. He could already be blind for all we know, since his eyes are all clouded over. He probably has poor vision at least. So how would removing his eyes help? And filling the sockets with concrete? Most lilkely the new eyes would just slowly push at the stone and make ut fall out in pieces. Or did you mean we should fill his skull with concrete through his eyes? That's not a very good plan. Not only would his head be heavy as frick, and thats not fair towards 096. He desservs good living conditions like any dangerous being. Also again, the brain would just reform and slowly break down the concrete. It would cause more issues than it is worth, and it would harm 096. The simplets way to give him a good life is to provide him with blind caretakers and maybe even a blind pet. We saw in that one When Day Breaks story about 096 how he could befriend and dven care for a blind kid with no issue, even growing parental towards her. So making sure he has a clean containment chamber, a few nice and calm blind caretakers, and a blind dog would probably make him less misserable. And who knows, maybe that would lead to less aggression if seen as a pixel in a photo.

OK I have a question about 96. Let’s say there was some new SCP and it’s just a mirror that cannot be broken. Maybe a few other properties but you get my point and indestructible mayor. If you get 69 to look in the mirror would attack the mirror forever I would assume if I just saw a normal mirror, it would shatter it and be fine, but if the mirror cannot be broken, no matter what what would happen?🤔

Hey would it be possible that if scp 096 went into rage mode bc someone seen its face and the scp foundation were to use scp 049 to stop 096 then remove its brain to make it docile that once it grew back would 096 still pursue the one that seen its face?

Might have something to do with Neurons and Memories, the removal of the Brain may have removed the Memories of the Plague Doctor seeing it's face, and if that is the case, Lobotomy may very well be the only means of stopping the Shy Guy, even though it only being temporary.
