SCP 096 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as The Shy Guy.
SCP-096 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38 meters in height. When someone views SCP-096's face, whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph, it will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress. SCP096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately one (1) to two (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face (who will from this point on be referred to as SCP-096-1).

Random irritation alert * Goddammit gaslighting is the most misused phrase on the internet. It does not just mean to lie or deceive. It is a specific type of deception that involve changing a person's perception in such a manner that they question their own perception of reality or even their own sanity. As this takes a lot of effort it rarely happens IRL but it does not stop ignoramuses from thinking it sounds neat and using it to means any deception. …that doesn’t make him worthy. He must be someone with compassion, restraint, wisdom, etc. And being willing to fight for a good cause. Not even the likes of Spider-Man is worthy. And he is so heroic, he would actually die for villains. Even for his worst enemy, the Green Goblin. That actually happened, he almost died trying to save him. The one who made the enchantment was Odin. In other words, you must meet HIS expectations. Here is a good way to see this. If you could be considered a good warrior by Asgardians, and embody their values, then you are probably worthy Extra: The reason why Spider-Man isn’t worthy despite being heroic is because of one simple reason: he doesn’t want to kill, even when it’s probably the best option. On the other hand, a warrior like Odin would have no issues with killing.

In most tales, 096 is not considered a sentient being, kind of like an animal acting upon instinct and reflex. Even if 096 is sentient, the rage that 096 feels when their face is seen is *almost* impossible for them to ignore. Tl:Dr chances are that Thor COULD speak with 096, but it won't really matter. Edit: 096 could ignore their rage, but it's mostly because they have been put into a situation where continuing to engage the enemy will only prolong a stalemate. And even then, they were disassociated from reality, almost mo reaction.

God and other incredible force of power can’t stop the rage. It healing ability is nearly invincible. The sun couldn’t kill him, black holes couldn’t rip him, the gamma ray burst couldn’t destroy him. Comic Thor couldn’t kill him, but he can make him quit. Shy guy has infinite speed. Nobody can escape him.

I feel like 096 being able to pick up Mjolnir was a way for the writers to bypass the very likely outcome of Thor just placing Mjolnir on it's chest when it's on the floor so it couldn't move. In all likely hood that move alone would certainly stop most non-teleporting SCPs

SCP-096 has shown the ability to pull some trump card out of nowhere to make sure whoever saw its face either dies or forgets (excluding some other SCPs but there are probable explanations for them) like in one universe the SCP foundation decided to launch it into the sun and someone saw a picture and soon after the earth’s orbit started to decay and it fell into the sun

I thought this was going to be bad by set up but it was fantastic. Thor and Loki are characterized perfectly, and the whole scenario is just like something Loki would do to Thor in Mythology, though with Thor being as compassionate as he is in the comics. 343 isn't immune to it. 096 still tried to attack him, he just gave up like he always does with opponents that are as indestructible as himself. 096 would definitely attack Thor. The only being "immune" to the gaze is 999 because of his ability to cancel out 096's rage state, not because he's a god.

Why was this not started with the Amalgotron 6000 super computer A.I.figuring the fight out? I love that plot device since it solves the problems of the different universes story wise. Also, what would happen if you put Thor's hammer through the clockworks on the highest settings or if the nerfing gun hit his hammer?
