That case with Bobby Dunbar is a real unsolved mystery actually. Bobby went missing and multiple people claimed him as their child. There's been a couple youtube vids about his mysterious disappearance and reappearance.

For those of you who don't know, the case of bobby Dunbar is a real unsolved case that follows all of the non-anomalous things that happen in this case!!

I have 3 theories about this. 1) there are actually 2 scps in the swamp. One that lures people inside to kill them brutally. And onther that tries to bring them back, starting from the damaged body, so it keeps all damages on the actual body and hopes that it stays alive. 2) there is just 1 scp that lures people inside the pit, to created new versions of themselves. Living bodies are too weak to tollarate the process, so they get damages and when they are brought back they have some changes to their body. 3) this is similar to the first, but the corps are damages by natural causes (weather and animals), so the corps the process has to base on are already damged.

So this is in part based in the Real-Life Bobby Dunbar case? Little weird to use a real disappearance case for an SCP, but at the same time it worked pretty well!

This story seems to be similar on a mystery story where a child seemingly to 'fake' his life into another family which one of the 'actual' relative was send to prison on the charges of kidnapping. The mystery is still in the air as the child's 'new' family didn't provide any comment even though there are questions to be answered. Its understandable how shocking and traumatising if one day you found that you are the descendent if that child who have no relations to the rest of your family and places the actual family in suffering.

I got an SCP video: SCP 1789: The Night Vision SCP 1789 is a black and rusty car. It mostly appears at locations on the roads like gas stations or small restaurants. If an individual goes near it or sees it, the car will turn on and make screeching noises. This will harm the individuals hearing and make them fall to the ground and then die. Then, tentacles will come out of the vehicle and make the individual, a driver of them called SCP 1789-1. The driver will be given a rusty, metal helmet connected to the car and would change its body with a police officers or a truck driver. 1789-1 will be given night vision and will grow out tentacles. The tentacles will be described SCP 1789-2. These are black tentacles which are good in hunting. The individual will hunt people on other roads and slaughter them brutally with SCP 1789-3 which is the file-ling cabinet which spawns any weapon. If the driver is killed, the car will go into hibernation for 5 months then finds another victim. Class: Euclid since it doesn’t have teleportation powers like Smokey, it’s easy to contain but it does have some containment breaches.

I like how the writer added an actual unsolved case of Bobby Dunbar to their SCP file. Since the case of Bobby Dunbar is that he was a boy who somehow disappeared in a family gathering and the case went on for a bit of time. A boy claimed to the police that he is Bobby. Dunbar's mother misidentify him for Bobby but took her sometime to believe that this kid is not actually him. But instead of another kid who just wants to see his favourite actor who somewhat resembles Bobby but I do recall that the boy keep in thought that he always has been Bobby Dunbar. (As you can see that I don't remember much from the case). And ig this case fits the SCP in a way, but not entirely cuz the details of the case is not so close with the anomaly. But I bloody love this anomaly.
