Phoogles I read the original when I first heard about SCP-3312 thinking it was just a meme. And even if it was originally intended to be meme-ish, it turned into something grotesque very quickly, particularly when the team is sent to the abode of the user 'MPerry'. Heh, guess it only becomes worse when you consider the point you've just highlighted. ...In the end, the only real thing that stops this meme-looking SCP from being entirely hideous, is the absurdity. It's still pretty damned hideous, though.

Each person progresses at different rates too. I'm guessing any further changes would involve physical transformations into an actual animal or something similar, or at least a complete absence of human language/communication capabilities. I am curious as to why this Ollie character keeps spreading the cognitohazard, as even he says he doesn't know how to stop it but his response to Perry's accusations imply it's intentional or at least used as a way to avoid being abandoned.

This SCP is supposed to be a realist look of the "furries are always immature" stereotype. The implication is that the SCP was responsible for making that stereotype a thing to begin with (hence why you're only vulnerable if you’re not already a ferry)

lol Iteration F was a little bit ago, and then this is the second because the Author asked me nicely (with Patreon money. :-P) I don’t know that there are too many furry articles left although there is the Tale spinoff of this one (Mobile Task Furries) that has been requested twice so far.

Honestly what sells this SCP for me is that ending. The rest of it is just mind control/regression turning people into crazed animals blahblahblah whatever. But that ending stuff with Perry and how he is cognizant of how fucked up his situation is but literally can't control himself and eventually begs for death even through his madness? That kind of shit is TERRIFYING. Like a part of him and possibly a part of everyone who reaches this stage is still intact somewhere in their brain and they literally have no control. Like an addiction and an urge so strong they can't counteract it even if they are aware of what they are doing and even if they hate themselves so much for doing that stuff. It doesn't matter, nothing will stop them from delving deeper into madness.

Hmm, perhaps it overrides some areas of the brain like portions of the Cerebellum, the Occipital Lobe, Cerebrum and the Frontal Lobe. Broca's Area too. This would allow for motor movement to be seized alongside speech formation, but leaves primary thought processes undisturbed. Do wonder what the honest point of it is, considering all it does it affect people who interact with a very specific medium, getting them further ostracized by the world, or are stupid enough to open up any random hyperlink they're sent.

This explains all the no-thought Fox sonas poping up all around the same time in 2008. Gotta say though it would have been much more intresting if the effect transformed the individual into their sona at stage 6. At first, I was pretty triggered at this skips existence, but after I read it over, and got to the part were it said that actual Furries are immune, I was in LOVE!! However, I still think there are some changes that need to be made in order for it to go good to great, First of all, try a less direct tie to the fandom in terms of origin, Fucking bitch-ass Komiho did that, and so should this! Here's an idea that I'm certain no-one on the SCP site will see, and me even typing this out is a waste of time...but, Here's an idea, how about, instead of Olliefox being a 'Furry', instead, he's someone who is obsessed with the ancient myths of human-animal creatures? He could still have his website, and his friends could still be mostly the same, but basically, what could happen with the infection is that instead of being turned into a 2011-esc Furry steryotype, the infected are turned into terrifying Werewolfs, or other were-animals? With the first few stages being the only one that resemble Otherkin? and the only direct reference to Furries, could be them being immune, and the only ones who can actually damage them? Furries fighting WereWolf-Otherkin hybrids!! This can go from good to great, people!!
