The separate reality or multiverse of SCP is honestly the best way to go about reconciling the different canons as the one true canon of the franchise. All canons then become valid, and I personally refer to the original series (Series I) as the "prime reality" from which all other realities branch out of. There are of course other SCPs from later series that take place within the prime reality, but this in my opinion is the best way to think of how the SCP universe functions; how the stories of characters paralel each other. Edit: That way, whenever someone comes across events that differ from the first time they read about them, they can either chalk it up to the realization that the story they're reading is just taking place in a different reality, or the SCP entry is just a deception tactic made by the Foundation to throw off snoopers, as they've done that before.

Is he the Hanged King? No, but Alegada exists. Adam El Asem is a big figure in the Kactusverse, and it seems like he's going to be revealed at some point. Kactusverse incorporates pretty much all of the big names into its own contexts. Anything you learn about certain scps and organizations in the kactusverse should be disregarded beyond it. Kactusverse is telling its own self-contained story. Also, as far as I am aware, the beginning of the Kactusverse is the Oroboros Cycle. Exploring Series has several parts for that.

It's probably already on your radar but I highly recommend ''Star signals'' for fifthism context, and also scp 2000 is a somewhat major 'thing' that shows up in several other scps
