This channel Detective Void has a slightly different interpretation of most SCP's than most other channels. Lack of canon strikes once again. What is consistent is that 682 is good friends with 079, hates all, or nearly all, life with a few notable exceptions, it's impossible to kill 682 in any way currently available and the regeneration. The "send it to the sun" plan was ruled out on the grounds of it having survived things that are hotter than the sun, and as anything that doesn't kill it makes it stronger, it could become totally unstoppable if it adapted the power of the sun into itself.
*A rant on SCP-682 **_"The Hard-To-Destroy Reptile"_* SCP-682 is known for its regeneration-abilities, its god-level intelligence and its HATRED of all life. But is most well-known for its ADAPTATION abilities, evolving, improving and adapting to anything that is used against it. SCP-682 has survived *too many* things, such as drowning, torn into pieces (SCP-162), transformation (SCP-1237), trapped in a time-loop (SCP-1950), being ripped from time and space (SCP-106), teleported to another dimension (SCP-507), plot-manipulation (SCP-826), its soul getting sucked out (SCP-158), mind-control (SCP-061), memory-loss (SCP-3000), matter-manipulation (SCP-536), destruction able to tear apart entire Omniverses (SCP-239), among other things, each time *adapting,* countering the effects, coming back in some way and even _using_ the abilities, which were used against it. The very *concept* of SCP-682 was literally *ripped* from reality and it came back and was therefore able to rip reality apart (SCP-6820). SCP-682 also came back from _ceasing to exist_ and shrugged it off like it was nothing (SCP-3930). It is very obvious: _SCP-682 just won't die._ There are over *200* attempts at The SCP Foundation _trying_ to *kill* SCP-682, which *all **_failed._* And here are a few events where SCP-682 has shown of its incredible adaptations, because I am a sucker for SCP-682: SCP-682 has survived *too many* things and *adapted* to them as such. Here are examples of SCP-682 displaying its adaptation: - SCP-173 "The Sculpture" is a statue, which breaks your bones, while you're not looking at it, with *blinking* counting as not looking. SCP-682 stared at SCP-173 for six hours (Without blinking once), before agents shot SCP-682's eyes out, allowing SCP-173 to finally attack. SCP-682 subsequently grew eyes all over its body, which were covered in a transparent layer, which made them resistent to bullets, disallowing the agents to shoot out SCP-682's eyes out again and with there now being no angle SCP-682 wasn't looking at, SCP-173 couldn't move indefinitely. - SCP-017 "The Shadow Person" is a three-dimensional shadow, which will leap at and consume anybody who cast their shadow onto SCP-017, leaving no traces behind. SCP-682 cast its shadow upon SCP-017, which consumed its entire physical body, but SCP-682's own *shadow* remained on the floor. That shadow was able to slip through the chamber's door, kill people by attacking _their_ shadows, until the shadow re-grew SCP-682's physical form. - SCP-826 "Draws You Into The Book" is a shelf, which will create a dimension related to the book that is placed into it. All events detailed in the book will occur as detailed in the book. A story was written where SCP-682 died, titled *"The Generally Nice, Friendly Thing That Can And Will Kill SCP-682 Permanently if it So Much As Spots That Damn Lizard".* They lured SCP-682 into the dimension created by SCP-826 and SCP-682 came out alive, contrary to the events detailed in the story, with the book now titled *"The Generally Nice, Friendly Thing That Tried To Kill SCP-682 Permanently But **_Failed",_* proving that SCP-682 can counter in-universe plot/plot-manipulation. - SCP-314 "Motion-Seeking Blade" is an Obelisk which cuts everything apart, that comes into a certain radius of it, being able to become faster and duplicate itself. SCP-314 attacked SCP-682, but SCP-682 soon started regenerating *faster* than SCP-314 could damage. This continued, with SCP-314 reaching *Faster-Than-Light* Speeds, having duplicated to *over 2000 copies,* which were all attacking SCP-682, who regenerated *faster* than they could do damage. SCP-682 just chilled there for *over an hour,* before SCP-682 grew *_bored_* and left the vicinity of SCP-314. - SCP-061 "Auditory Mind-Control" is a disk playing a song, which can control the minds of those who are hearing the disk's song. SCP-061 was played near SCP-682 and SCP-682 was given orders to follow, but did not follow any of the orders. It soon breached containment and SCP-682 was heard to emit a sound out of its body, exactly like SCP-061 and used its copyied mind-control abilities to lure personnel and SCP-682 subsequently killed them. - Put into a rocket, heading straight to The *Sun,* the rocket melted as it got closer to The Sun. SCP-682 subsequently grew *wings* and used the *Solar Winds* to *fly back to Earth,* re-entering Earth.

I honestly don’t know for sure, but I heard that Void sometimes gets super aggressive with people reacting to his videos. If I remember right, he got Cozy’s reaction video of his SCP 250 thing taken down for some reason.
I just wish there was a SCP RU-vidr with the Graphics of Detective Void but the Voice and Lore knowledge of SCP Explained. Him and The Rubber have good lore explanations but the graphics are tame. D-Void has good graphic depictions of the SCP's but doesn't hold my attention well with his dialog.
Highly recommend checking SCP 2718 from scp explained. It's one of my personal favorite scp videos on RU-vid and I'm positive that you will find it interesting.
Anyone saying SCP-682 is OP has clearly missed the point of the story. It's anomaly isn't all that impressive on it's own. It only becomes apparentely clear just how riddiculous the "indesctructability" is, when you throw a couple other SCP's at it. 682 is not about regenerating fast, or not being able to die. It is indestructable. The Foundation can't get rid of it. If thrown into space, it comes back, other dimensions, same thing. If reduced to atoms, it regenerates. Conceptual anomalies changing it's laws of physics are ovewritten by it and straight up erasing it from existence results in it's comeback. SCP-682 is a simple anomaly but one that really sticks with it's idea. You can't get rid of it. No matter what you do, it will survive.
682 is, like, one of the most overrated SCPs ever. He is too OP, it's pretty unfair. His quick regeneration isn't the only impressive thing about him. His extreme adaptability is another one of his abilities. Btw, 079 isn't a robot like Detective Void depicted it there. 079 is an A.I. in a very old computer.
682 has never been my favorite. In fact I find it a little bit overrated. It doesn't have anything interesting or unique about itself. Nothing that we've never seen before. At least that's my opinion.
Just for your information, I’d recommend not reacting to anymore of Detective Void’s videos hence forth. The creator in question is against reactions to his work as he believes it takes away viewership from his channel. He is known for filing copyright strikes and infringement claims on reaction channels in the past and has not backed down when the claims are rebutted. So for your own well-being and piece of mind, please avoid reacting to his work. Watch them in your own free time if you want, but don’t post any reactions of his work to your channel. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn’t serious.
