I love how when you enter 049's level the lights go off and the sound of the blackout is smoothly transitioned to the ambience

I remember when there was no ambience down in 049s chamber, now that they did, it makes the area 10 times more cool

The voice says "Save me from this burning world. Don't you leave me here alone."

This has a medieval feel to it so cool

Had before, drew a lot of 049 drawings just by listening to this. Gives a lot of peace and great atmospheric if you really think about death and Plague doctors of those times. Always come back again and again to listen.

Hearing this when heading down to 049s chamber for the first time without night vision goggles.. I shat many many bricks

In case nobody noticed if you listen really carefully at certain parts of the song you can faintly hear 049 breathing

Its so relaxing and scaring at the same time. I like it

This music definitely made it less boring and painful when I was stumbling around in complete darkness for 15 minutes to find the switch to turn the lights back on because I didn't stop by 939's area to get night vision goggles.

Above all themes, this one truly communicates nothing more than dread and death...

Never before has going to the doctor felt so unnerving.

I honestly felt safe when I heard this in the lift. That quickly became, no way would this game ever let you think that, then the fear built so fast.

It's lulling me to sleep, I might actually pass out at this rate. 3:50 GOD I'M TIRED!

i dont know why, but i can never get over that fucking doctor, its just too scary, and 106 too, all the others are fine, but those two fill me with genuine fear by just seeing them. meanwhile i can look at 173 and be perfectly ok, only when it appears out of nowhere is it scary.

Ok but why does this sound like the ambience that plays when you're getting to the chapel in Outlast?

Just recently played outlast, it's crazy realizing this song sampled "Now My Son," from near the end of the game.
