No, just precautions, I want to reset blink timer right before the doors opening (I died several times before because 173 caught me off guard in such places)

In this game things goes wrong all out of the sudden, so I press quicksave when 173 can sneak on me. I can load a few times mid run and lose one or two extra seconds, or I can just choke the run and practice current segment

@@ya_soos I see, for some reason I remember it taking way longer to load the game but maybe that was the Unity Remake that took forever.

@@simonnyman9031quickload in this version is almost instant (especially with the game installed on SSD), and Livesplit pauses the timer while loading, so we can do a couple of quickloads in mere seconds. For example, you can see "save/load height abuse" trick in other speedrunning categories, like Any%
