Well, Scrabble with every two-letter combination being valid was quite a game, so I decided to take things to the extreme... in the opposite direction!
Today, all two letter words are officially BANNED. "Is it so?" I don't know what you're talking about, those aren't words!
The memories of overlaps, parallel plays, and Mack relentlessly telling you to learn your 2s are gone... at least for today. But no 2s certainly doesn't mean no excitement, so you won't want to miss this epic battle!

That game could have been over very quickly if you both started with unhookable three-letter words in + formation

True, but pretty hard for both threes to be unhookable (and also completely unextendable). I'd also like to think that whoever would be making the second three would avoid doing so as they'd likely be down points and digging their own grave by going into a six-pass... (granted, Quackle was certainly not so careful about this in the all-M Scrabble game!)

Scrabble but you can't add letters to any existing words on the board. (If the word 12345, where numbers represent letters, is on the board, you can't hook it to form 612345 or 123456, and you can't extend it to 12345678, but you still can play a word using another letter on the board or "extend" a one-letter word.)

Funny idea: Take like 5 minutes to write down a bunch of words. Those are the only valid words in the game.

This was a really interesting variant, I'm glad you took my suggestion, I was curious what this would look like after your last episode of modified Scrabble. I'm glad you got to this so quickly. Also, I would actually watch a video delving deeper into the endgame strategy with this variant. It's always cool to see how quickly you're able to adjust your strategy to these variants.

Thanks so much for the suggestion and support! Yeah the endgame strategy in this variant must be super complex given the difficulty of playing one tile, would love to explore that more

How about playing scrabble with only vowels, but also having some Y’s? That way high scoring words are somewhat possible and there are more words you can play in general

What about no two letters word but all 3 letters combinations valid.

How about scrabble, but with the Cyrillic alphabet, or IPA letters.

Not sure how to code or work this idea, but how about a variant where each premium tile can be counted more than once. So if you get an 8 on a triple line, and by adding a letter it could count as a triple-triple
