Game idea to get Sully his first win: You play a game of Shoots and Ladders or Candyland, but Sully plays the role of the older sibling who gets to make up the rules as they go along. Adam gets one "But MOM" to cancel out a rule he doesn't want to be implemented. Twist is any rule he comes up with must persist through to the end, and he can't come up with a rule that directly counters another one he came up with.
This!! I'll even accept them taking turns making rules on opposite turns. i.e. one new rule per turn and take turns making rules. And a server penalty for violation of a rule or failing to make one
@@TheLastSane1 'Works' is kinda a bad example since it can be a completely different word in context."I'm going to work" vs "it just works". Scrabble says you can't add an S to another word to make the plural of that word, like 'pizza' vs 'pizzas'. (not trying to be rude or anything)
@@literallythrowing3264 I am also not trying to be rude, but the official Scrabble rules definitely don't say you're not allowed to add an S to make plurals. You can add letters to modify an existing word however you like, as long as the word or words you make are in the Scrabble dictionary. You can make a plural, a different tense, a completely different word... It's all fair game.

I was thinking the argument was more going to be something to the effect of "After spending the whole day on the horses back, my boys were certainly sore."
Which is completely hypocritical, because in the Trivial Pursuit House Rules, Adam said "Roald Dahl with his boy out" so "boys" should have obviously worked.
Adam says "Boys" isnt a rude word, but if I recall Trivial Pursuit With Wrong Answers correctly, Adam did in fact give the answer "Roald Dahl with his boy out".
If you ever redo Scrabble do "Scrabble but we have to make up the words" you have to convince the other that the definition you make up makes sense for that word

Do they ever address that Sully and Adam are using different rules for tile swaps? Adam is drawing new tiles and then putting back the ones he chose to replace, Sully is putting back the ones he chose to replace and then drawing new ones. Is why Sully kept getting the same letters back.
Adam tell to Sully how does it works on the beginning. Sully simply decide that he is better than those "easy rulez"... Or they are laughing so much they don t care.
For the next House Rules you should do Operation with different grabbing implements or utensils, chopsticks, pliers etc. Maybe even change what you have to grab as well.
I'm with Adam on "BOYS" not being a rude word, but the "initial f*cking parameters" of the game also included Teri being the arbiter of what is and isn't allowed. Sully's play should stand.

As a young American boy I had never heard the word Minge until I was playing FFXI and said "Brb a min getting a drink." and it censored minge out of the middle of my sentence, which I had to look up, what a great way to add a new word to a young boy's vocab.

I like how even though Adam told and showed Sully how to swap letters, Sully still did it wrong for most of the video. I like even more that nobody informed Sully he was doing it wrong.
Scrabble, but only with blank tiles. You can make any word you want, but you have to remember what all the letters are the whole game, and at the end nobody has any points.
How about Don't Break the Ice? The house rule being that instead of the little plastic mallet, there is a pool of strange implements to choose from. Each turn you have to choose a new implement, and once an implement is used, it can't be chosen again. In the first game, you get to make your choice strategically. In subsequent games you have to draw it at random. Some tools that you might consider include a popsicle stick, a carpenter's hammer, string cheese, the Quizzlemania trophy, Teri's hand, a nerf blaster, or a Q-tip.
We’ve gotta have game of life in pairs sometime right? Adam and Sullivan as one team, Blair and Blair as the other. Brooke can exact revenge for Adam accidentally cheating in the LotB first quarters, and we all know why Blair is here.

For the Scrabble sequel you have to play a fictional word made up by either player, and if the made up definition of the word makes the other laugh, they get the points. Half way through atm so don’t crucify me comments, but I love that no matter the set up or the game the formula remains, Sully jumps a little ahead and Adam gets nervous, has a super-think moment and destroys while Sully falls apart in the most hilarious and entertaining way possible. LOVE IT.

this inspired me to create my own scrabble house rules. Its called Sx5. Suggestive, Sexual, Swears, and Slurs Scrabble. Rearing would definitely count as suggestive.
Suggestion for the next game: How about "20 questions" but instead of having 20 questions to get it right, you have a number of free questions (let's say 5) and every question after that has a punishment cost. Example: If you want to get a sixth question you get slapped. Seventh and you have to take a shot. Eight and have ice cubes stuffed in your trousers, etc... You can stop at any time. If you get it right you score 20 minus the number of questions you made. Get it wrong and you loose that many points. First to (whatever score you choose) wins. If no one gets to it then after a certain number of questions (how many it takes for the length of the video you want). The punishments can be written in pieces of paper and pulled from a bag AFTER the person decided he wants another question, so it doesn't repeat and is random. Possible punishments in no particular order: Slap / Ice cubes down trousers / Take a shot of something / Pull nose hair / Remove hair from part of body with hot wax / Have makeup applied by opponent / Eats something nasty or bad (anything like a spoon full of salt, a dollop of wasabi, thousand year eggs or even fermented herring) - this can be done multiple times with different items chosen by the other player form the available options not already used / Wear a costume / Do pushups / Wear a T-shirt with the others face on it for the next 3 videos
Sorry, but as someone who's played a lot of Scrabble, and whose mom constantly played it with me as a kid (it's her favorite game), I have to correct something you said about the rules, Adam. The first person to use all their letters does not automatically win. You get 50 bonus points any time you use all your letters, including at the end of the game. Using your last letter when there are none left in the bag ends the game, but you don't automatically win; the person with the highest score at that point (after the other player subtracts their unused letter points) wins. It's not a Golden Snitch situation that invalidates the rest of the game :D You also should have gotten 8 points for "rear", because the starting star square counts as a double-word tile.
I just checked the rules, and "including at the end of the game" is too much of a stretch. You only get the bonus if you used all *7* tiles. If you use all of your 6 tiles, for example, you don't receive the bonus.
@@deedeeen Seems you're correct, and I've been playing wrong all these years. You're supposed to get the opponent's unused tile points, though, which we never did, so it somewhat evens out lol
that last part is correct, effectively netting you twice the points from each opponent if you were the one to use them all :p but then again, it would more often than not be below 50
Probably terrible House Rules ideas: Candyland but every color has three mystery foods of that color i.e., red has hot sauce, and when you land on a color blindly pick one option to taste. Sorry! but whenever a sorry card is played you have to apologize for something you've never told anyone about. Snakes and ladders but landing on a snake means you have to hold a snake. Charades with one arm tied behind your back. Monopoly but everything is free and it's just an endurance test.
I think a game like this is where niche kink vocab comes in handy, like I'm sure if you're enough of a degenerate you could have found two dozen words that sully swapped out lol
dad does have strong connotations, like if you're calling eachother daddy and baby that's a little kinky, but if you're calling each other dad and kiddo, that's like, god
I'm not completly sure HOW you'd do this, but I'd love to see you take the capitalist's wet dream that is Monopoly and turn it into a game about socialism. A second idea is to do Candy Land but with triple the amount of teleport cards. Did this with some friends a while back and it is pleasantly chaotic.
My family got some scrabble fridge magnets about a decade ago and pretty much played out a full game pretty much exactly like this (rude words only, but no points or winner, we didn't record who put what word, we sneakily put words there to avoid judgement) on the fridge door. It's been there for a few years now! It was very awkward to explain to my grandma who happened to see it when she was dog-sitting when we were on holiday, but it's still on there.

I'm only a third of the way through the episode (11:23) and Adam has ballsed up his score TWICE by missing his Triple Letter scores!! No idea who wins yet, but I am pulling my hair out that he keeps doing it!
The score modifiers only count if you place your tile on the square when you lay your pieces. Modifiers can only be used once. That being said, there are some that they miss, I'm redoing the scores now!
"name a boardgame sully can win at" my suggestion is one of those couples games where you guess the other persons answer. like "what is your favorite food" or "what did i study in college" it keeps the theme alive of you two being very good friends, and the twist of the game can be that sully's significant other is there as the impartial judge. and/or the answers you give are written on pre-filled in cards you start in your hand with and you have to select whatever fits "best" which might lead to some hilarious implications.
This is the first whole gameplay of any board game I have ever watched on RU-vid. As a parent and a teacher I feel like my monkey brain is making me 13 again. Not gonna share or tell anyone I know, obviously, but I had lots of fun watching you playing with yourselves.
Suggestion: Ludo/Parcheesi, but instead of rolling dice there's a deck of cards 1 to 10 (ace standing in for 1) and each player draws three cards. You both play a card face down and reveal it at the same time. Whoever plays the higher card moves that many tiles. Both played cards are discarded and you draw back up to three.
I think you've got an good spark of an idea for a game here, except I think there's one tweak it needs in order to make it way more interesting: Instead of whoever has the highest card getting to move that many squares, make it whoever has the lowest card. That would make the game a lot more strategic. If highest wins and goes that far, you _always_ want to play your highest card, and the game ends up entirely luck-based besides picking which piece to move. This to be fair is already the case in Ludo/Parcheesi-style games. However if lowest wins but only goes that far, you have to weigh the length of the movements against the odds of being the one who gets to move at all. Suddenly if you have a 2, a 5 and an 8, you have to consider whether you want to take the relatively safe two square move, play the 5 and risk not moving at all in turn for moving further if you do move, or even wager that your opponent is going to play super risky and be rewarded with a great leap _if and only if_ they also tried to go for a great leap.
You guys should try our houserule for Who’s there, With only stereotypes no questions about look or facts only your prejudices. Works surprisingly well.

@@master1442p It's not that she doesn't want her face on camera exactly. She just isn't a performer, and gets nervous in front of camera. She prefers to work on the production side behind camera. She talks about it in her episode of Are You Evil?, Sully's podcast on the NRB Patreon.
