As a kid watching this, I actually thought the same guy was in the audience each show screaming “yeah” the exact same way.

NBC used three different types of applause tracks. This one would crack me up as little boy, too.

There was one that went "yeeeeeee hoo" that cracks me up lol

This, $ale, and Wheel uses this same track. Anyone else?

​@@jprogmanpretty much all the NBC game shows in the 70s and the 80s used them. There was even one occasion such sound effects were used on an episode on The Golden Girls.

Funny, I was watching reruns of when Jason hosted the Tonight show, but then again, it's much harder than it looks when you're in front of the camera.
