Preserves have fruit chunks in it which is in a syrup, while jam has more fruit paste quality than jelly also there is a difference in the amount of gelatin I think I've only made preserves and jelly once

WOW. I remember watching this video on release, listening to them talk about their weight knowing I was heavier than them and thinking that was an impossible goal. Now I'm randomly watching again, having totally forgotten about that and now realising I am under that weight. YAY me.

Preserves is an umbrella term for any jam or jelly stored in an airtight jar. A jam is made from the whole fruit, so it will have pulp in it, and jelly is made using just the juice, so no pulp.

To clear things up for Ryan: Jelly = Just the juice, it's clear-ish like jell-o and holds a shape. Jam = Juice and some pulp, It's heartier than jelly but softer, doesn't hold a shape. Preserve = Made with the whole fruit like cooked pie filling, chunky. Marmalade = Specifically citrus preserves but instead of the whole fruit, it uses the juice and zest/peel.

The difference between a jelly, a jam a preserve, and a compote is the fruit content. Jelly < Jam < Preserve < Compote

Here's how I understand the jam/jelly thing. Jelly is fruit juice that has been sweetened and cooked in such a way that it has started taking on some of the qualities of jello. Jam is fruit that's been cooked and sweetened to the point that it loses almost all of its body and the pieces are strained out. Preserverves are like jam, but chunks are left in. Finally, marmalade is any jam, jelly, or preserve that is made from a citrus fruit.

I wasn't sold on this game idea until the bit with the chopper. That was way better then the planes.

I dont mind lindsay, I like watching games because it's a group of people having fun together, not because they all headline comedy shows

You can make basically any kind of casserole, including hot dog and tater tot caserole. My favorites from my Thanksgiving was the trinity + 1 (turkey, gravy, stuffing, & mashed potatoes) The stuffing is quite nice, especially since it has three kind of home made bread, apples, and sausages. Given that that's baked in with the turkey, and the gravy is made from the turkey, they compliment each other superbly. Mashed potatoes are also great, but stuffing is a once a year thing.
