So much stuff. So glad it's being scrapped instead of it going to the land fill. My city will now recycle styrofoam egg crates. Yep. Drive 35 miles to recycle the styrofoam. Computers. Drive 35miles to a different place. It's like we are being punished for wanting to recycle.

I would love to find a hoard house like that and have the money to buy it out. The old electronics going to shred made me want to cry though.

Wow!!! I have one of those metal bookcases I got it from a government building. It's probably from the 50's or 60's. Gray powder coating . .. I use it for a bookcase. LOL. 😅 Dave, look up how to make snake pins out of copper. That could be a good winter project. TFS

A lot of those electronics are sellable as parts units just because they were left out doesn’t mean much! Especially old HP stuff is super collectible

When I do scrap, I have a pair of pliers and a magnet. I'd take everything apart and check. I swear you put some aluminum into that truck of yours.

They should have paid you 700 to clean the place up. You have worked hard.

Sometimes that heavy ol'tech have batteries in them.i got 2 old storage batteries from a bank like some of the stuff you pulled out of there.1700 pound tween the both of them.

I have several broken bicycles laying around my shed , I never been to a scrap yard before, can I take those bike there as it is without removing the tires tubes and plastic etc they would take it like that ??
