I’ve been a Scrapbooker for 25 years, everything from Creative Memories to Anna Griffin, and I have to tell you how much I love your videos and the CTMH style. I’m so glad you’ll be moving forward with Stampin’ Up and you’ll be continuing your videos. They are so inspiring and informative. Thank you for sharing your creative talent and inspiration. ❤️❤️❤️
I am glad to know you will be joining Stampin’ Up. I am a hobbyist demonstrator who is very excited that they are going to focus more on scrapbooking. I love their card stock and inks. I look forward to seeing how they intend to focus on scrapbooking. My love is scrapbooking (not so much card making. I tried.). I will miss close to my heart and being one of your VIPs. I am glad I had found you on RU-vid and am glad you will still continue with your channel. Because of you I stamp on my pages and make my own embellishment more often. Thank you!
It is so good to hear that Stampin' Up is nurturing CTMH makers! I hope that this will continue to be a seamless transition. I cannot wait to see you work with their products. Great project by the way!
Dave on a sacrificial piece of cardstock 🤣🤣🤣 that cracked me up, so very typical of cat behavior and the humans who 'get them'!! I'm loving you three CDT's meeting up at SU headquarters, and then combining those memories with the Journey bundle, MWAH! Perfection!! Can't wait for my bundle to arrive! Although I admit I didn't see it coming, I'm so grateful that we'll all have a real home with Stampin' Up! It really feels like a blessing at this point! Thank you once again, Erin, you're the one who inspired me to join CTMH, and I'm looking forward to continuing to learn from and be inspired by you!!
Hey Erin!! I'm a little behind on your videos and just watched this one 💙 I am so happy to hear your update, what a lovely opportunity for us all and I'm so glad to hear you'll be continuing to share your layouts and ideas! I'm super excited for you xox
I'm so excited to hear you are joining Stampin Up. Like you, I'm incredibly sad about Close to my Heart closing, but your excitement about Stampin Up has me encouraged. I'm hopeful that some of the amazing CTMH products will carry over. The one thing I will miss the most is the beautiful color palette and the awesome magnetic ink pads. I wish you all the best in your transition and I can't wait to see what you create. Btw, thank you for always explaining your thought process when making layouts, it is very helpful. ❤
I am glad you are excited about the news! There is rumor SU will eventually have the ctmh magnetic ink pad case design, definitely something to look forward to!
The blues in the monochromatic design are very pretty. I like this layout design--might try it in blues but using other colors too. These blues make the photos pop out.
I'm so glad to hear you are going to continue to use your CTMH stash in your videos!! Also--you made me LOL at the sacrificial cardstock for Dave. Totally understand that.😻
I wasn’t sure about this collection - it seemed so bright but after seeing what you did with it and the vellum embellishments, I am glad I ordered it! Great photos!
As al long time customer and afficionado of CTMH, I have been very concerned about what a merger with Stamping Up will look like. Hearing your enthusiasm makes me feel better! I'm very inspired by how well you have dealt with this significant change in your life and I wish you the very best!
I really love this Journey colour and the layout. I will continue to watch your videos, so much inspiration in them. For us CTMH VIPs and customers, it is a bit of a mystery as I for one know nothing about SU so that is something to look forward to, I hope.
Journey is such a beautiful color! There are a lot of unknowns, but I am feeling optimistic. There will be things we miss about Ctmh, and there are things Stampin’ Up! does incredibly well. Many feel it’s going to be the best of both worlds. I certainly hope so!
Erin I would have fellowed your YT with any decision you’d made. I love your style of scrapbooking. I’ll be going to SU but my heart is with CTMH. It has been a hard decision, like most. But really what do we have lose. Such a pretty layout.❤
So happy to hear you will be going forward with Stampin Up. I was following you wherever you decided, so I’m along for the ride. Thanks for another great layout.
Welcome to Stampin' Up, Erin!! I am sorry for your loss, and very excited to hopefully have memory keeping take a larger focus with SU. We have been such a card making forward environment and, while I love making cards, I also love scrapbooking. I've followed you for years and it's great to know I'll continue to benefit from your influence. Again, welcome!!
Erin - glad to hear you are joining Stampin’ Up! I am a hobby demonstrator, but I have enjoyed ordering from you for some of the scrapbook workshops kits - hope SU brings those over! Love watching your videos/layouts
Thank you for sharing and giving an update. Your album is just gorgeous! So inspirational! I would love to stretch my wings and learn how to scrapbook. Maybe Stampin Up will be incorporating scrapbooking?
I highly recommend you stretch your wings and give scrapbooking a try. Yes, Stampin' Up! will be offering scrapbooking products and I am excited to see what they have in store for us.
I love ctmh stamps. I think their 'words' are the best, perfect for layouts! I have some stampin up stamps but they just don't have the wordie titles like ctmh. Hopefully going forward they improve on that
I agree, larger stamps and titles is something we brought up during the meeting in March. I do feel optimistic their Scrapbooking workshops are going to be wonderful and they will have the coordinating sticker sheets, die cuts, and stamp set 😃
Journey is my favorite color, too. It reminds me of the ocean & the sky. I love this layout and I am so happy things are falling into place with the two companies. ❤️
Did you at least give Dave some markers or stamps to go with his cardstock? 😅 I can't wait to see some of your stash busting! Love how the layout came together. Now I need to start playing with vellum!
I am excited for you to join the Stampin’ Up community; I was a demonstrator myself for a while and loved the community. I left because I’m more of a scrapbooker than card maker so the news that SU will expand its scrapbooking section is wonderful.😊
I am not familiar with Stampin Up products, but I am glad to know that you will be telling me about them. I have been scrapbooking for 30 years, & I don't "need" any more supplies, but you inspire me to try new things. Sometimes I give in & buy when your layouts look so good. I hope that Jayma & Chelsey are going to go to SU also. You three are my favorites on youtube.
I'm really glad that you'll be making the transition to SU Erin. I've been a hobbyist with CTMH for almost 10 years and will be joining them as well. I'm grateful that they have given us this generous opportunity to join their team. I really enjoy your channel, your talent and Dave's "pop ins!" Cheers to our new journey!
Erin, this layout is gorgeous, as is all of your layouts. I am so happy to hear how excited you are to join SU when CTMH closes. It sounds like they are welcoming you guys with open arms. I can't wait to see what is in store for us from you on this new venture my friend!
I hope for a few things as you and other CTMH makers transition to being Stampin Up demonstrators. I hope that the company treats you well and listens to any concerns or ideas you may have. I hope they take scrapbooking seriously this time around as they haven’t done very well with it the last few times. They’ve had page kits, Project Life page protectors and card packs and albums but never promoted anything enough for it to become a real thing for the company. It would be awesome if they created a scrapbooking design team. I hope that they take a page from CTMH and start making more dies to go with the stamp sets. I hope they allow you to continue to use and create with ALL of the things that you have and love and relax their policy of only being able to use and show their current products to your customers and followers. I was a demonstrator for about five years and I couldn’t keep up with how much I had to buy in a year to remain a demo or how products came and went so quickly. I like too many other companies to be constrained by rules that seem so outdated. BUT, I do hope that you find your place as a demo and continue to enjoy what you do. I will continue to watch your videos, as well as Jayma and Chelsey, because I truly enjoy them! Best of luck!
Erin, this almost monochromatic layout inspires me to try something like that, I love how it turned out. And what a perfect choice of colour for the subject matter, honouring the last colour of the year with CTMH as you start the journey to Stampin Up. The stamp sentiment was perfect too. I'm so happy to see how much SU is adopting from CTMH and how great they treated you all.
Love the monochromatic layout. The color is so pretty and love the coated papers. So happy you will continue your videos as you give so much inspiration and creativity. Stampin Up is lucky to have you on their team. I hope the transition will be smooth and you will enjoy this time of moving forward with a new company. Happy they will be incorporating CTMH products. Can’t wait to see how the story begins❤❤❤
Congratulations Erin! I’m sure you feel more at ease having the what’s next decided. I don’t know much about Stamping Up, but will follow you on the journey to see what products they will have to offer. Glad to hear you will be doing CTMH videos with all your stash (I’ve been hoarding so much!). I think I saw Jayma in the picture with you. You go girls!
Very pretty layout...that color is beautiful. I'm so happy to hear you'll be going with Stampin' Up. I've purchased many of their stamps and dies over the years, very nice quality. I'm VERY happy to hear they're branching out into the scrapbooking world, that's going to be exciting. Happy that you and other CTMH people have found a new home with S' Up. I look forward to following you as you begin this new adventure. All the best to you!
Welcome to the Stampin' Up! family. I know you will do wonderful with them. You are so talented and creative. I'm a hobby demonstrator, was hoping for more, maybe one day.
I'm so excited you are going over to Stampin' Up! I love your youtube videos and sat here creating a layout as I watched this process video. I've learned soooo much from you and I will keep on watching. I even rewatch videos so I can listen while I create. Thank you, thank you.
I’m happy to hear SU! is going to include scrapbooking items again. I’ve been a demonstrator a couple of times and loved their card stock and designer series paper as well as their embellishments. I wish you well with your new venture ❤
Stampin Up must be ecstatic to have you!! Will you be on their design team as well? I am delighted you will continue to share your CTMH goodies in your crafting as well. The Stampin Up scrapbookers are excited about this merge hoping it will broaden the scrapbooking side. Cant wait till May to hear about your new adventure and see what you do with SU products. Hugs, huge smiles and very best wishes in the coming weeks.
Thank you for the well wishes. I can say I am really enjoying the products from Stampin Up! I am glad fellow demonstrator scrapbookers are excited about the upcoming scrapbooking collections!
The home office is beautiful!!!!! I've been a few times and I'm always so overwhelmed with the beauty! I have been binge-watching your videos this last week as I have been creating! Love these photos, and I love that you got to go and see so much! Hugs crafty friend! PS - Printing photos is the thing that I struggle with the most. I wish I could get better at it.
I love this layout. The monochromatic color scheme is so pretty. Exciting news too. I'm looking forward to the transition and watching you create with the new products. I have only been following along for a couple weeks before the announcement was made so I was sad thinking you might not continue creating, so I'm happy to hear you will be joining Stampin' UP.
I always learn so much from you! Like in this video, I like how you explained about off setting your photos to take up around the same space as the other page. I'm happy to know you'll still be using your stash that you already have, because I'm not one who only sticks to one product, and I love your videos for the ideas and tips you always share. I wonder if SU has any idea how much you and your fellow CTMH peeps are bringing to their company. I'm sure they'll find out pretty quickly. Ps, give Dave an ear rub from me. Best wishes for your new adventure, Erin.
I am super excited about your new adventure. I also really like the Stamp Up products, use to buy their products and I am still using them. I believe you are really going to enjoy being with them. Congratulations! Is that Jayma in the background she is also one of my favorite ladies on You Tube. Glad you are going to be still on You Tube.
I’m so happy you’re joining SU! I enjoy your videos so much 😊. And omg. I’m so excited to hear they’re going to have flip flaps cuz I use them a lot 😂. TFS
As a fellow maker with CTMH, I have enjoyed seeing what you do with the new product. You are very inspiring and I love your style. I look forward to seeing what you do with SU product as I have moved over as well :)
Great layout as always, so happy to hear you will be joining SU, I have been with them for 16 years here in Australia. You are so talented and I love your videos. And can’t wait for what’s to come. 😊💜
Beautiful layout & I love the vellum embellishments. I had no idea you could print on cardstock with the PM400! I use it to print my photos, now I'll be looking into printing my journaling as well. Thanks for the tip!
Beautiful layout! I'm looking forward to your new adventures with stampin' up and what it will mean to the rest of us scrapbookers. Do you know if the new shapes dies with stitching will become available? At one time they said it would be coming in April but I haven't seen it listed. I really hope I will be able to get it!!!
I really love your style and your layouts are always so beautiful! I’m really sad that CTMH is closing, and I can only imagine how difficult the news was for you and your fellow Makers. I look forward to continuing to watch your content though, I’ll just be using different products than you going forward. Unfortunately Stampin’ Up is a company I just can’t support in good conscience.
Who was that? Such a beautiful ginger coat! NO! No other colors for the background, those papers are too beautiful.Journey is the name of the color? It's a lovely blue. I've been a hobby demo with SU since April 2020. I was a scrapbooker, but went head over heels with cardmaking. By now, I've "met" several Makers and boy,oh boy, does that scrappin' virus itch!
Hello, it is so lovely to "meet" you! Journey is a stunning color so it was fun to create this monochromatic layout. The scrapbook bug does bite and with SU ramping up their scrapbook offering I bet you will be scrappin' in no time 😃 😉
Erin your so in the know, is the speacial for us makers going over to SU only for Makers, or can our VIP’s do the special offer? Sorry to bother you with this but I figured you would know. This layout is awesome too! ❤
Thank you Mary and you are not a bother. The special offer to become a Stampin’ Up demonstrator is for makers only. Anyone can join but it would be under their regular offering. They do not have a vip program but are rolling out a customer rewards type program soon.
@@CraftyConceptswithErin Thanks Erin, I get my code on Monday to be a SU demonstrator, I’m going to miss being a CTMH Maker, I hope it all works out for all of us, I just love being a paper crafter, you just keep creating and inspiring us ok. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week. Thanks again!
Stampin' Up! hopes to have their own scrapbooking workshops ready to launch in the Sept / December mini catalog. Unit then there will be the CTMH branded products they will trickle out in June and then again July or August. I will know more on the dates as we get closer 😃
Hi Cindy, my RU-vid, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest will all remain the exact same. The only thing different will be my website, after April my CTMH website will no longer exist and I will have a Stampin’ Up! site instead
Hello Erin!! Can't wait to see your talent using Stampin Up products 😍! I have a question. Do you know if Close to My Heart will remove their images from cricut design space? Thank you 😊.
Hello that is a great question. The older Cricut collections might remain, I didn't really get a for sure answer because it was not a black and white situation, technically they are also owned by Cricut so I certainly hope so.
Hi Joan, yes, I have a MacBook and use a new document in pages, size it to 4 x 6 and use a text box to size my journaling block. I have a video showing the process if you would like to see it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--OAp2qUeCwc.htmlsi=CemUI8F045gglJNN
Love this layout. You are awesome. I know nothing about Stamping Up so I will rely on you to teach me. Do they have catalogs like CTMH and if so how do we get one?
They do have catalogues but you have to buy one from a demonstrator. You can also look at their products on their website but not the catalogues themselves.
@tammyb6497 I can't believe you have to buy their catalogs. That is the only company I've ever heard of selling their catalogs. That does not make me a happy camper.
My demonstrator gives her customers a free catalogue if they’ve made a purchase from her in the last six months. I’m not sure what other demos do. You might want to find one in your area and ask them about getting one.
Hello! I have a MacBook and use a blank document in pages. I set my paper to 4x6 and use a text box to size my journaling. I select the photo printer from my computer. You can see the process in this journaling tips video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--OAp2qUeCwc.htmlsi=XRjDYaezhUgFEvOp
Typically I print my journaling using my all-in-one office printer, but I had a lot of questions, so wanted to show that it can be done on this little photo printer
Hooray!! So glad to hear you are joining the family!! I think this color is goreous and your layout is so pretty!! What kind of printer do you use for your photos? I've been thinking of getting one myself. Congratulations on your next journey!
Thank you so much! I am sorry I am only now seeing your comment. I use the Epson Picture Mate 400 and it is fabulous! I actually bought a backup when it was on sale because I love it so much. I ordered it from Amazon amzn.to/4by5hYk. I have a video showing the printer and app I use too, you might find it helpful ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-unDuVv0lxKA.htmlsi=yhvymwXIZJtefceV
@@CraftyConceptswithErin No problem, completely understand! Thank you for getting back to me. One of my team members told me about this video and I have watched it. Great info!!! Thank you!!
