I wish I had ten minutes with you and tell you this video was an answer to a young widows prayers to simplify the overwhelming task of scrapbooking kids albums. Big hugs.
Thank you for taking the time to share! It seems so obvious yet there are SO many of us who can use the motivation by seeing someone else lay it all out. I'm trying to develop the habit of filing my daughter's school related items instead of having them floating all over the house and love the way you've divided them into simple categories. Makes it seem less overwhelming when the time comes to sit down and document it all. I need to get my hands on those 8.5x11 pocket pages too - those are fantastic for people like myself who are OCD and want everything to remain uniform with the same brand. Thanks again!
Becky....you have been my scrapbook star ever since I've started scrapping back in the Creating Keepsakes ages. What a great way to not feel guilty about keeping every paper and yet get it "in the books"! Thank you!!!!!!
This was great! I am "Trying" to get started... and now I'm a grandma... I loved that you had all different sizes of pages in your scrapbook. I'm getting closer!! Thanks for sharing your creative process!!
That is my exact same process. It was great to see someone else on the same wavelength. It's super important to have perspective in this process - you just want to represent and capture the essence of the child and the time. THEY DON'T WANT EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EVER KEPT - trust me.
You are the sweetest, funniest person. Great, fun video and I am working on my son's Project Life book now. Catching up on his 7 years of life everything is sorted by year/age/grade, now to do the sorting. Thanks for all the great tips!
Newly found your channel. You had such great tips, even for a person who's been scrapping for a while and needs motivation to get those albums done. I love the black display board idea to take the art pictures.
This is such a great idea! I currently have a lot of Junior kindergarten art in a folder. I've taken a couple of photos but I will do this more often. Thanks for sharing.
I have albums for my kids too and just ordered those regular dividers that you showed. How did you get "kindergarten" and "first grade" etc typed onto the divider labels? Also, how did you create the album labels for the spine of the binders? Thanks. Love this so much!!! Looks awesome!!!
This is perfect! I throw away art & worksheets as I get them, and only keep the ones I actually want to keep right away. Other than that, I think this process is perfect 😃
You have some good ideas, but you should edit down without the explaining, although it was cute:)) U could have just brushed ur hair and put clips in it. Sorry, but you lost me at the skinny size of video & movement of camera
I think her bun was cute and real life. I personally hate when you tubers are all made up and fake looking! Thanks for the video Becky, wish you kept making them!
