Thank you so much! It's mine too!!! I need to make 2-3 more for my shelf so that I have a real village. I have other dies to put in the front like a Santa and Sleigh, a little girl pulling a sled, and a small village that would look awesome. Thanks for watching! Merry Christmas, hugs and blessings, Carol

Hi Wilma. I did a tutorial on how to put the lights in the window in this video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Db-kmYT2rkk.html It is the exact same process. Be sure to use the wire lights. Thanks for watching. Hugs and Blessings, Carol
Hi Carol, Thankyou for creating such beautiful projects. I follow your work all the time and just love the things you make. I tried this project but used too thick a card stock and it ended up looking like a wonky donkey. I am going to give it another try. Could you make this with thick paper instead of card? My joins were not great and certainly not crisp like yours and found it difficult to keep the extra wire from the lights out of the windows. I haven’t decorated it yet and am trying to work out whether I should continue or start again. Any advice you could give me would be appreciated. Much love from Tracey in Sydney Australia
Hi Tracey Be sure to use a bone folder to crease all our score lines. That will give you crisp finishes to your lines. The lights I used are wire lights. I just fold them and put them in the window and glue them down. If you bend the wire-that will help. Other than that-I can't think of anything else unless you send a picture. I'm glad you are enjoying my videos. Happy New Year. Hugs and Blessings, Carol
Hi Carol Thankyou so much for responding. Please find attached a photo of my first attempt. Of course it is not finished. Thought I might have a second attempt at the houses before I do any further embellishing. I think one of the mistakes I made was I used thick cardstock and then covered it in designer series paper which made it too thick. I am thinking I would try it with just designer series paper but am not sure if this will be strong enough. Please find attached photos and try not to laugh but if you do well at least I put a smile on your face which I am happy about. Have a beautiful day. Blessings Tracey 🎉
Thank you! 😊 Dee, I have to admit that I don't know how I accomplish as much as I do. Since the beginning of November we have been renovating the house. In between fixing walls and painting, babysitting my grandchildren and doing all the Holiday festivities it's been a challenge! But I make time when I need to. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas. Hugs and Blessings, Carol
