New arrival from last week! Barn door style Chevrolet Suburban "limited" although I don't see whats so limited about it. The 350 is standard, the blown out trans come later and the falling off wheel arch trim is usually a "neglect" feature that only some models suffered... uh... "ended up with"' LoL Hopefully, even though its rough, it could be saved and made a mule or work truck out of. These trans are cheap and easy to find around here. So I don't see this one hanging around long. We thank you for watching and more videos are coming up soon!

Those TBI 350's don't make a lot of power but they'll run forever. For the right price it'd definitely be worth the $400 or so to rebuild that 700r4.

+TheNOISYCar1 Yes but 90% of cars on British roadways get INSANE (by US standards) MPG. I have no idea what your car gets, but mine gets around 13 for comparison.

I own a 1995 Suburban and I must say that it's a really reliable SUV. The maintenance on these particular models is very affordable and if properly taking care of, these SUVs will probably outlive you...lol

AND, you can repair these fairly easily. Unlike the new JUNK that is selling today that requires a computer geek just to figure out how to start them. Then you need a 757's pilot's licence because they have so much junk in them that you totally forget it's supposed to be a TRUCK! The older trucks and SUV's are a lot more user friendly and don't require a second mortgage to fix when they break down.

As an european guy I think the Suburbans is a pretty good looking SUV. Love the retro 90s early 2000s design on those things. Wood paneling is just a stock thing on those Americans and English cars off this time period, you could wrap it black if you hate it that much. Hopefully you will gif us a update about that sweet original orange Ford F250 you have. That's an awesome litte project and so clean!

The wood was either an owner or customer installed "kit." These trucks did not come with wood from the factory. I had a 1989 Sterling/Rover 827sli that had factory wood. Surprisingly, it was the only part of the interior that stood up.

I just sold a 93 Suburban in March with 264,000 kilometers on it for $2500.It was the deluxe model with power windows locks., barn doors.

my uncle had a suburban of that body style, but it was tan and had a newer style interior but damn I remember riding in that thing and it was my first time riding in anything with a v8 in it other than a cargo van and man when he hit the gas it was awesome... that's what I want in my future, an old '90s suburban

The Suburban/Youkons that are saught after are the former police interceptors. With the (I believe) 454 LS Based Vortec V8. Those were tuned chasing machines. My father got one from an auction and the camshaft was barely able to keep the engine running because all of the hours just idling. I wish it didn't blow a cylinder because I loved that machine. Now I have a 2003 1500HD Silverado Z71. It's nicer in features but not the comfort of its leather stab proof seats.

The 3-4 clutch is a weak spot on the 4-L60E units and earlier 700 units. Heavier duty Suburbans were fitted with the much stronger Turbo-400 based 4L-80E. This truck could be tidied up and an updated transmission put in that addresses the weak spots.

Literally have the exact same wood trim shit on my Yota T100 I just picked up today. I have to track down completely new dash pieces- that glue residue does NOT come off.

I'm not a fan of domestic vehicles at all but a friend of mine had one of these for like 11 years and he BEAT IT to death, still screeched along at 5mph when he finally junked it at 300k. Now if only Chevy could do that in this decade...

*that retractable light has a clip that holds the light in you have to lift the clip up. then the light comes out and the cord will go pretty much around the truck. just got rid of my wife's suburban just like that recently. hers the trans was completely dead in it and she had 289,000 miles on hers the only reason we got rid of it was because the trans had gone in it for a second time and the starter was dragging that and something had gotten in it and died and it STUNK to high hell*

It's probably just burnt valves in the transmission. It was a defect in those trucks. luckily I caught mine while my truck was still under factory warranty and they gave me a new transmission.

I think the wood paneling is a "choo choo " conversion that you could buy as a interior upgrade, the logo is a little steam train on the glove box.

That looks like a choo choo custom suburban, from what I know they are pretty rare. Details of a choo choo custom suburban is the custom center console that has a refrigerated compartment, and the cup holders are heated and cooled. They also fitted wood trim in the interior like this one has. Not 100% sure if that’s what this is but it could be.

I have a '95 GMC Yukon. 4x4 same transmission shifting problem, hoping someday to fix it. I've had alot of people wanting to buy it. But, it's probably the closest thing to a Jeep Wagoneer, that I'll get. Since Wagoneer's are so expensive.

350 will run forever if it has been maintained and hasnt had the crap beat out of it. i have a 1996 camaro LT1, which was a redesigned 350...... sample bottom end and pistons. it has 240K on it still pulls hard and runs excellent.

I really like the engines in the 90's 1500's...the transmissions are crap in them though...don't know how many people I know with these trucks that had to have their trans replaced or rebuilt.

Honestly my dad used to have a Suburban that looked just like that, it was a 93 I think but it wasn't limited. However it had issues like it was barely drivable I think the transmission was bad or something. It also had an issue with the computer or whatever because it was stall out and crank back up slowly.

My family is due to receive a Chevrolet Suburban from a man we know, our '92 Buick Century no longer works due to someone breaking into it and vandalizing it. We have no idea what the car looks like, though. He says the Suburban runs perfect, and that the only problems is that the rear window is busted out, and the A/C doesn't work.

I was just wondering about that Ranger right before you mentioned it. I recognized it. Also, that Suburban was a mild conversion done by some outfitter like Southern Comfort or Choo Choo Customs or the like. They added that console (w/ cassette tape holders, BTW), the glass running boards, the 'limited edition' bullshit emblem, and that God-awful cheap looking plastic, orange wood look shit all over the inside. Added $4k to the price when new, but $8k shoulda' been deducted for all that fugly crap! Jus' sayin'.

The blue full size SUV is a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban 1500! This Suburban grille is only for 1992-1994 models while the grille for Silverado pickups are 1988-1994 models!
