Scrapping an electric motor with an air chisel

That was a heck of a lot quicker than a hammer and punch! I must look at getting something like that air chisel. Been thinking along the lines of building a framework that supports a stator and allows a bottle jack to push up through it and pull the windings out. Sort of like the combination splitter/ puller hydraulic motor wrecking machines you see for sale on the internet. Except rather than an electric motor running the hydraulics it will be my arm. LOL 💪🤣 Save on the power bill. 😁

Have been thinking about getting an air chisel kit for a bit. Looks like if an old chisel bit had a right angle spike welded on, it would get you a better hammering angle to speed it up more. G'day from The Copper Coast-Wallaroo, South Australia! Subbed.

There is a chisel thats made for your air gun that has a J shaped curve on the end. Its made for pushing heavy duty cotter keys out of there pins. It works great and won't sever the wire

How do you come across you motors, transformers and wire I want to start forging but unless I buy all my wire etc. From a scrapyard I don't know how to get any thing to melt Is it common to buy from certain places? I'm less than new at this Thanks
